Story time! A little bit about my tiny Silver's family history.
It's a little sad.
From the start, it was clear that little Silver resembled his father the most. Nobody was quite sure where his pale coloring came from, but that was fine. Genetics didn't always make sense.
His parents noticed early on that their son had some sort of magic. Odd things happened around him, and sometimes he laughed at an empty corner of the room. Nobody else in their family had magic, as far as they knew. Then again, there was nobody to ask. Neither of them had parents left. The only family was his father's little sister.
Maybe his gift was why his hair and eyes were so different. Whatever the case, they would figure it out as he got older.
That never happened. Before the child turned three years old, his parents were in an accident. At the time, he was in the care of his aunt.
From her perspective, Silver waved at the door and wandered off to play in his room. A few hours later, she learned that her brother and his wife died. From his perspective, his parents came home and, some time later, his aunt started crying.
As his only living relative, his aunt was determined to look after Silver. It wasn't easy. She changed jobs often, chasing promotions and better schedules, so they moved a lot. Silver lost count of how many schools he went to. He didn't mind moving. There was always someone to play with, and his family was together.
Over time, his aunt realized that Silver was a little odder than she originally thought. It wasn't limited to the dishes moving on their own or his knack for knowing too much. His antics weren't just the rich imagination of a lonely boy. He saw things that she couldn't. He asked about things that shouldn't exist. He talked to her brother.
She tried to let it slide. She hated hearing only one half of a conversation with the only family she had, but Silver still had his parents, in a way...
In a way that she couldn't...
The boy grew up. The older he got, the more he resembled his parents, and the more his aunt hurt. She kept quiet about that. Of course he would look like his parents. It wasn't his fault that she missed them.
Meanwhile, little Silver saw his parents as clear as day. He knew they were dead, and his aunt was sad about that, but death didn't mean much to him. How could death be sad to someone who could look it in the eyes and hold its hand? But, when he mentioned them, sometimes his aunt looked like she wanted to cry.
Slowly, he stopped talking about the things his aunt couldn't see. He also stopped asking about things he heard without her saying them. He didn't want to make her sad. Over time, the gap between how they saw the world widened. His parents' ghosts could do very little to help.
Shortly after Silver started high school, his aunt caught a lucky break. They moved again, but that would be the last time. Silver made friends at his new school and their little family was finally stable.
And so, Silver mentioned his parents for the first time in years.
"Dad wants to say something."
His voice was almost a whisper as he braced for her reaction.
"What is it?" she asked.
"They have to leave soon. He wants to thank you for looking after me." He didn't know why his father said it like that when his parents had always been around, but he was asked to relay those exact words.
His aunt nodded, biting her lip before running to her room. She didn't say a word, but he heard everything regardless.
There was bittersweet relief, knowing her brother was with her for all that time, frustration and doubt as she questioned why Silver stopped talking about them in the first place, anger at herself because she knew it was her fault, and the sorrow of knowing that her family would be gone for good.
Silver had left many people over the last several years. To him, it felt as if his parents were simply the ones moving away this time. Why was it so different for his aunt? Why did his parents' smiles look so sad?
The day his parents' souls left, his aunt cried for the first time in years. Once again, Silver stopped talking about things she couldn't see, but only because they were no longer in the house. It seemed that last "goodbye" had changed things.
No, that was wrong. His parents said "goodbye" because things had already changed. They left because they knew everything would be okay.

Secrets Kept From Him Series Ran Haitani x Fem Reader Chapter 2 : Uncovered Secrets chapter 1 WC: 4590+ Resident: @enchantedforest-network TW: Past relationship with Ran, Disappearing, Slight Suggestive Themes, Angst, Drinking, Suggestive Language, Secret Child He Doesn't Know About (unedited) MINOR DNI 18+ Synopsis: After running into him at the hotel, his mind begins to wonder if there is someone else. He asked you to meet him at his penthouse to talk. The conversation you have been dreading to have if you ever encounter him once again. Your reason for leaving.
It killed you as he softly spoke those words to you knowing you could hear the aching in his voice. “I missed you too..” you couldn’t help as the words fell from your lips.
It was becoming all too much for you to handle. You wanted to break down and cry in front of him. Ran pulled back slightly he saw your eyes fill up with tears ready to be spilled at any moment. You couldn’t let him see you like this, a complete mess. You began to wipe your eyes. You need to compose yourself and get back to your table. Maybe following him was a bad idea. You were so caught up in the moment you needed to leave. “I have to go.” you said trying to walk away but he grabbed your hand not letting it go. “She is mine…isn’t she…” he asked, looking at you. He had no doubt in his mind it was his daughter. He just wanted to hear the words come from you, wanting to hear that it was indeed his daughter.
You nodded looking down avoiding eye contact with him. “She is Ran….” Ran took a moment before speaking he took a deep breath and said “We need to talk to you about this.” He spoke in a more concerned tone. “I can’t have you disappearing on me along with my child,” he pulled out a pen and a piece of paper jotting down some notes. You could see his jaw flexing as he was trying to calm his nerves down. “Come to this address tonight at 10:30pm…. I will have Rindou escort you to the address.” Ran said even if you thought about leaving you couldn’t know Rindou was going to wait for you. “Ran I--” as you were trying to speak he cut you off.
“I will let you go back to her now…” Ran stepped to the side with his hands in his pockets as he began to walk away. “I will see you soon.”
As he began to walk away, his expression changed; he didn't know what to think after all these years. He was torn between glad you were safe but angry to see you with a secret you kept from him. Walking into the lobby he saw Rindou. “What happened?” Rindou followed his brother outside.
As they both exited out the lobby into the brisk cold Ran pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. Exhaling the smoke. “I told her to meet me at the penthouse… Can you bring her there before 10:30 pm…” he looked at his brother.
Rindous eye twitch “Look I don't want to get into your messy relationship with ______.” “I’m asking you as a favor from brother to brother… I can’t have her leaving with my kid again who is also your niece…I need to prepare for this encounter mentally…” Ran took a inhale of the cigarette a few mins a silence between the brothers as uber arrived a few mins later “Thank you Rin..I owe you one.” “Yeah yeah whatever.” he rolled his eyes seeing his brother get into the uber as they drove off.
‘shit ..shit…shit.’ you were saying to yourself as you began walking away. Your heart hasn’t stopped pounding since the encounter. Making your way to the table, your aunt saw a bit of distress look on your face. She didn’t speak a word until you both went back into the room.
Putting on a smile for your daughter as you tried to enjoy the rest of dinner with them. As you got back to the hotel room it was getting close to her bed time. “Baby it's getting late, why don’t you get ready for bed, okay?” you looked down at her daughter. She ran to the room where she had her items. You had your hand on your hips letting out a sigh. You felt the beaming eyes of your aunt looking at you. “What happened?” She asked.
He saw us… He knows about (D/N)” you spoke nervously as it was getting close to the time Rindou was going to meet up with you. “What did he say?” she asked “he must have said something to you to make you jittery.” “He wants to talk, I know what he wants to talk about.” You sighed “Well he has every right to know why you left and didn’t tell him about the baby.” her arms crossed against her chest.
“But aunty I-“ you tried to talk but one of her hands halted your talking.
“I don’t wanna hear it.. This was bound to happen…if you were so worried you wouldn’t have moved back here. Like I told you when you just had D/N…if you planned on staying away you should have stood back in America and not come back to Tokyo…. Either he is gonna want to get to know her or not it will be up to him. If he does, you will need to work something out with him. You also have to understand if he is with someone else you will have to accept whether you like it or not.”
She was right. You knew the risk factors of coming back and you needed to accept them. Even if he was with someone else you would have to not let it interfere if he wanted to be apart of her life. “I get it… You're right…it’s just….” You couldn't finished sentence because you didn’t know how you felt about Ran right now. You switched your question. “Can you watch D/N?”
“Of course… Why don’t you go see her before you leave okay?” Your aunt spoke calmly. You nodded as you walked to the room. Your daughter was in her nightgown and she was in the large bed. “You look all cozy in that big bed.” you teased her. “Mommy are you going to come to bed now?” your daughter asked. “I’m actually going to go somewhere but I will be back before you wake up, your aunty is going to stay with you till I get back.” Sitting on the edge of the bed as you ran her fingers through her hair. “Where are you going?” she asked as she held her stuffed lamb.
‘I’m going to meet you dad…’ you wanted to say but you couldn’t. “Just an old friend of mommy’s.” putting a smile on your showing her not to worry you were gonna be okay. “Sweetie.” you cupped her cheeks. “Mommy loves you very much.” giving her the eskimo kisses. “I know mommy I love you a whole bunch too!” she cupped your cheeks back making your slightly giggle. “Get some rest sweetheart.” you kissed her forehead. After tucking her in you grabbed your purse and phone. You exited out of the hotel room entering into the elevator. As the elevator stopped at the lobby, your heart was pounding as you stepped out of the elevator. “Oi ______.” you heard Rindou’s voice with the familiar unfazed look on his face
‘Geez did they both go through a phase of changing their styles?’ you thought to yourself. Walking towards him. “Rindou, it's been a while.” “Well that's what happens when you disappear for 5 years and you don’t see the people you're used to seeing on a daily basis…” Rindou still with the familiar sarcastic tone as always.
‘Smartass as always… I guess some things never change….’ you thought to yourself. “Right…right.” you spoke in a low tone.
“Follow me, the vale is getting the car already.” Rindou began to walk towards the exit, you followed behind him closely. You could tell he didn’t want to be bothered with his brother's love life. You always maintained a good relationship with him because of when you and Ran were dating. But he was doing this for him, and yet if the little girl he saw was his niece he had to compromise. Getting into the car it was awkwardly silent for you both.
Your mind began to wander looking out the window. You remembered the day you gave birth to her.
~~~~~
You had just given birth a few hours ago, by yourself. Your daughter was sleeping in your arms . You were exhausted mentally, physically and emotionally. You could have blamed it on the pain from labor along with the lack of sleep or just pure guilt of doing this by yourself and not having Ran apart of this journey with you. Your bottom lip quivered a bit thinking about wishing he could have been here. She was your whole world now and knowing you had to do everything you could to protect her. She was swaddled in the blanket. You could hear the soft cooing coming from her as she slept. “It's just you and me sweetie…” cradling her in her arms. Pressing your lips softly against her forehead, “I promise to protect you with my life”.
You had a knock on the door “yes?” you called out to the door. “Hello Ms. we are here to get your informations for your daughter's birth certificate.” The admins from the hospital spoke. She was gathering the information from you. “What would be the last name?” she asked.
“Haitani…” you spoke.
“Do you want to add a father on the birth certificate?” “Just curious if I do put his name down will there be any chance of him knowing unless I tell him?” you asked The admin responded “you can always add him but you have no legal obligation to let him know you can always keep to yourself unless you want to collect child support.” “No no I don’t want to do that to him...I would like to add him to her birth certificate.” “What's the fathers name?” “Ran… Haitani.” as you said his name you looked down at your daughter.
~~~~~~~
Rindou was curious about the little girls that had the strong Haitani genes. “What's her name?” his eyes were on the road. “Her name is D/n Haitani.” you spoke in a low tone. The moment hearing his niece's name and her having the last name of him and his brother made him feel relieved yet bothersome. He knew his brother wanted a family, specifically a family with you the moment things became serious in your relationship. Ran had all these ideas planning out his future. Rindou heard every part of it to the point he was becoming annoyed with his brother. But seeing how it made him happy he just listened. When you left all those ideas vanished. His brother wasn’t the same after you left. The amount of blood shed to the extreme over killing someone. ‘Get the fuck a hold of yourself. She is not coming back, she is gone.’ he remembered telling his brother this and something inside Ran made him feel numb. “I want you to know something before seeing Ran…” Rindou gave you a side glance before returning his eyes back to the road. “He has changed since you left…Don’t think he is this sweet guy you knew from the past… Understand he had a difficult time adjusting when you left…” “Rin, look I’m not trying to get back with him. He was the one who wanted to meet up okay?” you spoke to him a bit snippy. Realizing how you must have sounded when he was just telling you information. “I’m sorry I just… I’m nervous, okay I hadn’t seen you brother in a long time. And we are in this predicament right now.. I'm sorry you got dragged into this.” The rest of the car ride was silent until you arrived at the building. “He is on the top floor, the door is down all the way to the left.” He parked the car. When you were getting out Rindou spoke “_____ sorry for earlier…“ he finally made eye contact with you. “It’s okay… I know you care about Ran, you guys are all you have... Thank you for bringing me.” you gave him a soft smile before got out of the car and began to walk into the building.
Ran was looking at his watch and it read 10:25pm. His brother texted him about 10 mins ago saying he dropped you off. He would have thought you would have been up by now. He decided to check and see if you got lost. When opening the large door he saw you. You were standing there for a good 5 mins anxious to knock on the door. “Did you forget how to knock?” he asked raising his brow.
“Oh um no I just…” your voice trailed off you began to rub her arm.
“Come in.” he opened the door wider to his penthouse. Walking in your heart was pounding once again. You were trying to control your breathing. Hearing the door closed Ran could tell the anxiety was spilling from you, your eyes avoided his. “Did you want something to drink?” “No it's okay..” your eyes wanted to wander the large penthouse filled with extravagant items. Ran still poured you a drink knowing you needed to relax your nerves a bit in order for you to talk. Bringing the drink towards your way “Here take a seat…” He took a seat at the end of the couch while you sat at the other side. He began to unloosen his tie and unbutton the first two buttons to get more comfortable. You noticed the small hickey that appeared on his neck you didn’t see earlier as it was covered by the collar. Ran noticed you looking at his neck. The intimate moment between him and Ms. Yamaguchi prior to him seeing you. “I think it's time we talk about what happened. But first, what's my little girl's name?” he brought his drink to his lips as he made eye contact with you as he took a drink.
“Her name is D/N… D/n Haitani.” you said.
He nodded at her name “you gave her my last name… I would have expected you to give her your last name since you left.” “I thought about it but I decided to give her your last name. You are your father.” you looked at your drink swirling it.
He let out a sarcastical chuckle “How kind of you…You gave her my last name but didn’t tell me about my daughter.. Better yet you weren’t planning on telling me it just happened I was there and that’s when I saw you both…” Ran spoke calmly yet you could hear the slight disappointment in his tone. “How old is she?” he asked.
“She is gonna be 5 in two weeks.” you went into your purse pulling her a photo of her. You handed it to Ran.
Ran looked at the photo of the smiling little girl. His heart dropped seeing how beautiful she was seeing all the features and how strong his genes truly were. “My little girl.” it was hurting him more. This wasn't what he had envisioned in his life. “I missed close to 5 years of her life and her not getting to know her father. Is that fair to her or me?” his smile disappeared. “Ran I get what I did wrong okay? I’m sorry if that’s what you wanted to hear. I’m sorry I left. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about D/n." You were becoming a bit upset and defensive.
He slightly shook his head. “You don’t get it…You promised to be by my side… and then you were gone.. You broke that promise to me ______…You left while I was gone from our home we shared. Only taking a few items and you up and disappeared on me…Why? Why did you leave someone you supposedly loved?” You stood quiet…. You could hear the bothersome tone in his voice, something you weren’t used to. “I had to do what I thought was best for my daughter…even if it meant leaving someone I deeply loved to protect her. ” you furrowed your brows.
“Are you saying I wouldn’t have protected you or my daughter?” Ran asked, putting the glass down. He sat closer to the edge of the couch, his feet flat on the ground, his hands clasping between his thighs. He turned his head slightly looking at you. He was slightly offended by your words, he assumed you thought he wouldn’t have fulfilled his duties on protecting you both.
“Ran just listen okay? I brought it up to you many times about how I worried about you. You always seemed to not take my concerns so seriously. Did you ever consider what it made me feel, what you did for a living at the time and how I worried about your safety.” you took a deep breath closing you eyes, you had a crackle in your voice and needed to calm down before you spoke again. “What would have happened when someone wanted revenge because of someone you killed? They would have gone after your loved ones. Me or your daughter. You think those sons of a bitches would have given a damn gunning one of us down. What would have happened if that happened huh? It would have hurt you way more than this…. I couldn’t risk my life or your daughter's life…I understood when being with you and what kinda business you were in but it changed when I became pregnant Ran…” your emotions were coming out a bit more. “ I don’t expect you to forgive me for what I did but understand where I’m coming at the time your girlfriend was carrying your baby…Every single night I was anxious about getting a call from someone saying you were dead because of a bad deal.” Ran remembered you constantly bringing up to him about how you worried about him. Just the last time you worried about him, you were attending to his wounds. He didn’t want you worrying about him at the time. Sometimes he slipped up. “I would have made sure nothing would have happened to you both. I would have protected you both with my life… But I guess you made that choice without talking to me.” Ran could understand your worries but you had to see if from his point of view you didn't have to leave the way you did. “The woman that you're with, who is she?” “My mothers sister… Her and my mother have not been on great terms since I was young. But my mom made a point for me to get to know her. My mother just found out about the D/n she was upset not knowing about her granddaughter.” you place the glass down knowing that was another issue you had to deal with that didn’t involve him. “Ran look…I won’t force you to see D/n if you don’t want to… I get it…I decided to have her she is my responsibility” “What makes you think I wouldn’t want to know my own daughter? You didn’t give me that choice...” he sighed it
You nodded “If you want to see her, we can make an arrangement for you to meet her… It's going to be a new experience for you both and I think it should be taken slow..She is a rather bashful child when you first meet her. She may not open up right away.”
“I see… When do you want to make this arrangement?” he asked.
“We will arrive at the new house tomorrow. You can come over tomorrow and meet her if you want.” offering him the day.
“I can make that work…” he said. After going over the rest of the detailed planning with Ran he was curious about a few more things. He was used to holding you close to him exchanging kisses between one another. Just seeing how reserved you were right now he couldn't help but ask, “Did you find someone else when you left?”
“I didn’t have time to date while raising a child. I can see you kept yourself busy though.” you looked at the hickey on his neck once again finishing the last of your drink. Looking at it was bothering you, seeing how fresh it was too.
“Well this is how you wanted it.” Ran came back with a quick response. “You right, maybe I will have enough time to do that now since I’m here.” you looked at the time on your phone then back at him.
Ran smirked “right right…” he didn’t find your response amusing. But he couldn’t say anything since you both aren’t together. At one point maybe there was just that small part of him that wanted to grab you and pull you in for a kiss. Yet he couldn’t do it with everything going on and how rocky you both were with one another you both needed time to process this.
“I should get going. It's getting late and I will see you tomorrow.” You got up from the couch. You began walking to the door. Ran got up right behind you following you to the door, before your hand reaches the door knob. He reached it first, opening the door for you. So many things he wished he could do right now but he was hurt. One of them was to bring you back into his home and not let you go. But seeing how you were reacting to the hickey on his neck it wouldn’t have been a good idea. He still found you attractive and for him to have you as the mother of his child.
“_______” he walked you to the elevator pushing the button.
You looked at him. “Yea?”
“What does she like?” he asked.
“She likes tea parties, flowers, and dressing up. A typical 4 year old going on 5.” you smiled He had a small smile “I’ll see you both tomorrow.” “See ya tomorrow… also make sure you cover that up before you get there” you pointed to your neck mimicking the hickey on his. The elevator door opened as you were pressing the button for the lobby.
Before the door could close Ran kept the door “Is that jealousy I smell on you?” His voice was smooth.
“Don’t flatter yourself…” you sighed, you wouldn’t admit your jealousy about it. But you couldn’t tell him what not to do, since he was technically a single man. Who had hoes in different area codes. On the other hand you were a single woman and he couldn’t tell you what you couldn’t do either. “I don’t want D/n to ask about it when she meets you tomorrow. I mean you're all about making good impressions right?” His hand released the door, he knew it bothered you. You could be read as an open book by him but it also went the same way around. You knew him like the back of your hand. There were a lot of unsaid things you both didn’t say to one another as you both looked into one another's eyes. There was that gleam of loneliness in his violet eyes because he would be alone once again when you left. Nothing could come out of either of your mouths as the elevator closed and Ran gave you a small smile. “Till tomorrow.”
You had a small smile, as the elevator door closed. You were trying to process everything that happened. Your hands ran through your hair taking a deep breath. Memories of you and Ran when you both were together were hitting you all at once. You needed to keep it together till you got back to the hotel. The car ride with Rindou back to the hotel was silent until he said “Ran is going to meet D/n?”
Nodding at his question “yeah he is going to meet her tomorrow. You will meet her soon too.” you gave a grimace smile. Rindou analyzed your tone and expression, he knew there was a part of guilt eating you up, along with a mixture of still having feelings for Ran. It was painfully obvious to him. This was between you and Ran with all the underlying feelings for one another he couldn’t get involved in that part. Still he was wondering if his brother would still see the different women he grew accustomed to over the years or if that would stop and possibly rekindle the old flame.
Arriving back at the hotel “Thank you for the ride Rin.”
“Your welcome… I’ll see you around.” He spoke. Rindou watches as you enter the hotel. Taking a deep breath he drove off to his place for the night.
Getting into the hotel room. Your aunt was still up at 12:35am. “I’m sorry I got back so late, how was everything?” You asked her.
“Everything was fine. She was asleep when you left… How did it go?” She asked.
“He is going to meet her tomorrow…” you looked down picking your nail.
She lightly smacked your hand “relax okay? I know it’s different but at least you will have some help with her father being in the picture. A little girl should know her father.”
“Yea…” you wanted to change the subject “did you want to stay here tonight or I can have a taxi take you home?”
“I’d rather sleep in my own bed,” she said. After about 15 mins the taxi was down stairs. You both said goodbye to one another as she left the hotel room.
Sitting on the couch, it finally hit you that he was going to meet his daughter tomorrow. The thoughts of what ‘if you didn’t leave’ filled your mind, would you both be married? Have more kids? Would you both be living the life you dreamt off? You kept thinking of the hurt expression on his face of how much he has missed his daughter, growing up without him knowing. The tears from your eyes fell to your cheeks, as you began to sob on the couch. All these tears you locked away for years couldn't be contained anymore. You tried to repress your feelings, you failed.
You felt exhausted from the long day. You changed into your pajamas. Walking into the room where your daughter was sleeping. Carefully get into the other side of the bed so as not to disturb your daughter's slumber.
The following morning your daughter was the one who woke you up. “Mommy, wake up! We get to go to our new house today!” You could hear the excitement in her voice.
Your eyes are a bit swollen but you managed to open them to see the big smile on her face. “Okay okay I’m up.” You slightly chuckle sitting up in the bed. It took about an hour and a half for you to both get ready to leave the hotel. It would take an additional 25 mins to get to the home you bought. This would be the place you both would call home now. Entering the home you saw all your furniture from your prior home there. It was more than enough room for you and your daughter. You saw the excitement in her eyes as she ran up stairs to see her room. You could hear the exciting squeal coming from upstairs from her.
Not even 5 mins of being in the home you heard the doorbell ring. He was here already, walking to the door. You took a deep breath opening it to find Ran there. “Good morning.” He had his signature smile on his face and in his hand were two bouquets of flowers. One of them was smaller than the other.

Oooh idea if you’re interested! Husk taking in Alastor’s daughter reader when Alastor leaves for 7 years?
He Stayed (Platonic!Husk x Alastor's Daughter)
She was 10 when she'd been dropped off at Aunt Rosie's one night. Alastor told her he'd be back soon, and that she needed to behave herself and be a respectful young lady.
"Okay! I love you, Daddy!"
He was gone quickly, swept away by his own shadow. Y/N hummed a happy tune that she'd heard on her father's broadcast earlier in the day while she played with her stuffed raccoon. She played for hours, not really grasping how late it had gotten until she heard a knock at Rosie's door.
She assumed it would be her father, ready to whisk her away and take her back home. Instead, she rushed to open it and greet him, and was met with the face of her father's servant, Husk.
"Oh! Hi, Husk! Is Daddy here, too?"
Husk shook his head, clearing his throat.
"Listen, kid. Your old man asked me to look after you for a little while. Why don't we go back to my place?"
Young Y/N tried not to get too upset. Surely a little while just meant a few more hours, maybe a couple of days, right?
Wrong. Y/N didn't see her father for another 7 years after he'd left her in Cannibaltown. She'd spent her time with Husk, who taught her how to keep her poker face from wavering. She'd clean the bar for him occasionally, but he usually took that task on by himself.
"Oh no. Your old man would kill me if you even went near the stuff on that shelf. Sorry, kid."
Y/N stiffened whenever he'd mention her father. She really didn't care much for the man who chose to abandon her. She'd do whatever she wanted, including chugging the most expensive bottle on the shelf, but she worried too much about her father finding out and punishing Husk for her own decisions.
Late at night, she'd wonder what her father would think of her now. She'd mourn the time lost before she realized that he'd chosen to rip that time away from them, and then she'd just get angry. She'd be angry for a while. She threw the framed photo of the two of them on the ground and watched the shattered glass fly across the floor. Then she'd pick up the frame, dust it off, and hold it close to her chest as she cried.
Alastor was terrible. She hated him for leaving her. Still, she couldn't help loving the man she'd known before he abandoned her.
When Husk would hear her sobs through the walls of their home, he'd knock on the door of her bedroom and come in with a bag of chips from the bar and a few cans of soda.
"Hey, kid. What's all this crying about, huh? Why don't we play some blackjack?"
He always knew how to cheer her up. Sometimes, he'd show her some neat tricks that he could do with just a bit of magic and a deck of cards.
During one of their later nights, Husk was simply holding Y/N as she cried. Then, out of nowhere, they appeared in this rustic looking room. Directly before them stood none other than Alastor, her father.
His ears perked up a bit and his pupils narrowed as he saw his daughter's tear streaked face for the first time in nearly a decade.
"Husker, I trust that you're not the reason my little girl is crying right now. It would be very unfortunate for you if you were."
Alastor's head turned at an odd angle and his sound was filled with more static by the second. Y/N stepped between her father and the man who'd taken care of her for seven years, anger clear as day on her face.
"You can't hurt him. I won't let you."
Alastor perked up again.
"Oh come now, dear. He's merely the help."
Y/N's back straightened, and her expression changed to one of defiance.
"No, Alastor. He's not just the help. He's the one person I care about most in Hell."
Alastor's permanent smile widened.
"Oh, Y/N, even more than dear old dad?"
"Much more, because unlike "dear old dad", Husk stayed."
Alastor hadn't really been prepared to be hit by such a damaging statement. His smile almost faltered. Almost. Y/N's rage didn't, though. Not even a bit.

Mother tried her best :ASL x Ex-Member of the roger pirates.
Type: angst, mother love, death, Marine ford, Spoilers, fem reader.
A/n: it's a bit crappy at the end but I tried.
-------------------------------------------------
How did I get here again? Right...to save him...but why is he sitting there, stunned?
"Luffy, Ace why are you crying?"
.
.
.
"A chosen one?" Y/N repeated her captain's words, "one who will surpass us," Roger clarified further. Y/N and Raylight exchanged glances before smiling/smirking at their captain.
"I wonder if it's going to be my son" Roger inquired, "You do not have a son?" Raylight interjected, "How about Shanks and Buggy? There kids" Y/N reminded, "that's true HAHAHAHA" oden, Roger, Raylight and the rest laughed together.
.
.
.
"Y/N shanks stole my stuff again!" yelled Buggy, running towards her and hugging her with teary eyes to gain sympathy. "It does not have your name on it!" showted shanks while running after him, "can't the two of you share?" She said, picking up the buggy by the back of his shirt, "No, it is mine!" Buggy protested, and when Shanks caught up, he was also grabbed by the back of his shirt, "What is this thing you are fighting over anyway?" starting to get impatient she finally asked taping her foot on the ground, "it's a treasure! A mysterious box!" shanks answered first as buggy nodded and finished the sentence,"and it needs a key!".
How can you say no when they forgot what they were fighting about and, after setting them down, she requested that they show her the box......"Where did you get this, boys?" A simple question with a serious tone...."I told you we would get caught!" whispered yelled buggy to shanks "we haven't been caught yet" answered shanks in a similar tone, "IDIOTS!! YOU WENT TO ME AND TOKI ROOM AND TOOK MY STUFF!" hitting them on the head, BY began scolding them for both stealing and lying, "Are you sorry?" Another question with dead seriousness, "Yes, we are very sorry," answering in union. NY sat next to them and grabbed the small box. "You could have asked, but it is a music box." Pulling out a key, she opened it and turned it on, allowing them to enjoy it for some time.
.
.
.
"so it's true that garp hid a kid here?" she said looking at the 7 year old Ace, "the hell you want?" he barked at her, "the names YN and......." a small moment of hesitant crossed her before she answered "I am your aunt"
.
.
.
It happened quickly and without thinking. "Why did you do it?" Ace screamed, "Why did you push me away!"....right, that magma man tried to attack Luffy Ace, and she wanted to take the hit...but she pushed him away, and that is how she got a hole in her chest.......but why did she remember Shanks and Buggy instead of these two in this moment...is it because they are so far apart? So she believes that everyone is on her side right now?...... "I told you not to put yourself in harm's way in a fight, and Luffy, we are in a war right now, so do not let your guard down or you could get *Uhhahg*!" Without realizing it, she started scolding them until she threw up blood and fell to her knees. "MOTHER!" The two shouted as they snapped out of their shock, holding her falling body, "Why am I always surrounded by kids?" "Y-y-your injuries are going to be fine, I-I can find a solution...Marco, where is he?" With Ace falling into panic Luffy was trying to keep it together, "Ace, it is no use..." With a weakened voice, she tried to stop him: "NO!" "There must be something we can do-mph!" She hit his head with her fists to wake him up, then hugged him tightly.
When the brothers returned the gesture, she finally said, "Do not cry....it will be okay...try to get out of here..." "We can not leave you here...mom," luffy said, interrupting her.
"My beloved son, I love you. I am sorry I can not see you achieve your dreams. Please grow strong and remain humble." The last of her strength was summoned, and she consoled her children while sobbing and saying, "The old era ends here you two are a part of the future so go on live!" Looking at her two crying children one more time, Yn finally saw the cold light as it faded from her eyes. Hearing distant shouts of her children, she thought as a final word of comfort to herself, '....mother tried her best...'

Requesting a crack scenario please (✯◡✯). So imagine Reader and ROR character are married and they have a lovely son and daughter. One day, their children approach their grandpa Adam/Odin/uncle Zeus/aunt Aphrodite and would cry to them saying that their papa is hurting their mama. However it was all just the kids misunderstanding things because one day they saw their mother exit the bedroom with bite marks, hickey (which the kids thought was a bruise), and couldn’t walk properly if you get my drift (¬‿¬).
Humans - Kojiro, Lu Bu, Jack
Gods - Poseidon, Hercules, Hades, Thor, Loki.
-Your darling daughter and handsome son ran into the kitchen from the backyard, their arms going around your legs, “‘Mama-mama!!’” you smiled, moving the mixing bowl off to the side so it wouldn’t get knocked over and you bent down, pecking both of their foreheads, greeting them.
-They greeted you back with kisses of their own as you grabbed them each a banana, peeling it, “Where have you two been?”
-Your son lifted his hand, like when he was in class, “We went to see (Parental Figure)!” you turned, a bit confused, “Oh- why did you two do that if you don’t mind me asking?”
-Usually, when they went off to see (Parental Figure), it was so prepare a surprise for you, like for Mother’s Day, wanting to prepare their own gift for you.
-Your daughter then spoke up, “We tattled!” you turned, even more confused, “Tattled? Who did you tattle on?” they both beamed brightly, speaking in unison again, “‘Daddy!’”
-You blinked, coming over to pet their hair, “Why did you tattle on daddy?” you weren’t prepared for them to turn, giving you puppy dog eyes as your daughter spoke, “Because daddy hurt you!”
-You kneeled, concerned, trying to keep them calm, “Hurt me? Daddy’s never hurt me.” Your son sniffled deeply, trying not to cry, “But you were limping the other day, and we saw bruises and bite marks on your neck!”
-You turned white in shock, freezing as your face turned bright red, you couldn’t explain what you were doing with daddy without scarring your children.
-You smiled gently, consoling them both, “Thank you for tattling on daddy for me, but next time, come to me first. Some things you don’t tattle to others about.”
-Your son beamed, “Because mama’s the boss right?” you giggled softly, “Yup, mama’s the boss.”
-(Love) came in, curious as to why you were talking about who’s the boss and went to speak before a knock came at the door. Instantly your kids covered their mouths, “Ooh~ you’re in trouble~”
-He was confused and went to the door.
-He was not expecting to find Adam there, surrounded by pure fury, black flames surrounding him, “How dare you- how dare you attack my daughter in such a way?!” (Love) was instantly running, trying to figure out what he did, trying to flee from the very furious Adam. It took almost twenty minutes to pull Adam away, after he chased your husband up a tree, and with a bright red face you apologized to him, embarrassed that he was bothered in such a way. Adam pecked you and each of your kids on the cheek before sending a glare to (Love), silently threatening him to be more careful with you. (Love) was not overly pleased to be in trouble, pouting that he got tattled on, but at least you thought it was funny.
-Kojiro, Lu Bu, and Jack
-He was not expected to be greeted by Zeus who was laughing so hard he couldn’t breathe, holding onto the doorframe while Aphrodite looked exasperated, holding her cheek. She explained what your children told the two of them, telling Zeus first, but when he started laughing and couldn’t stop, they went to Aphrodite. She explained, without giving too many ‘certain’ details, that sometimes adults don’t know when they’re playing too rough and (Love) didn’t mean to hurt you. The kids were pleased with this answer, but Zeus insisted on coming over. (Love) stomped back in once the other two Greek gods were gone and came to you, acting like a child, “They tattled on me!” you were quickly mimicking Zeus, you couldn’t breathe from laughing so hard as he and your two kids started to playfully argue about tattling.
-Poseidon, Hercules, and Hades
-Odin was the last person he expected to see but within moments (Love) was bright red, which Odin did think was rather amusing. He told (Love) how your children came to in tears, saying that he was being mean to you, leaving bruises and biting you. He patted (Love’s) shoulder, “Next time, do it in places they can’t see and go easy on Y/N, she told us both last week she’s not ready for more kids yet.” Once Odin left he came in and hugged you close, trying to drag you away from the kitchen, “I’m not sharing mama anymore!” your children were quick to run, grabbing onto his legs, demanding that he set you free. You laughed softly, managing to get free and left the three of them in the living room, play fighting with each other, as you were hoping they would tire each other out.
-Thor and Loki

yall, I'm about to share something a little bit ... eerie?? Because why not, plus it's spoopy season 🎃
tw: witchcraft but like nothing serious (I hope not)??, owls, a dream I had, animal body parts in my dream; I connected the dream to Miguel somehow 😭
Okay, so idk if you guys believe in witchcraft but... I do 😭 I've always heard that owls are apparently bad luck and used for this stuff, but I never cared about owls apparently being "evil" or something (same with kitties).
I actually love owls -- I think they're cute despite how dangerous they can be. I even used to have a handmade tote bag I sewed back in 7th grade with owl printed fabric for one of my classes because I loved them so much (I still do), anyway - I have never seen an owl in person nor had I heard one irl in my whole life until about three weeks ago when one was somewhere near my bedroom window at about 2am.
It creeped me out so much because it lowkey sounded like someone was crying in a way?? And I think it kept moving around because it would sound close and then further away, but at the same time close by?? Idk, but I was stressing out because of it and my dog (I have a dog named Rufo) because he could hear it, too, and he was barking like crazy. My poor baby and I were anxious 😓
Moving on, I live with my parents (the economy is tough and also different cultures have different expectations/traditions, like not leaving your home until you get married) and my mom happened to still be awake at that time watching some Turkish telenovela while working on crafts 😭🤣 well, I went to her and she asked why Rufo was barking like crazy and I told her that I kept hearing an owl. I think my mom could see I was actually a bit scared, startled, anxious and also, she believes in witchcraft, too because of some stuff, so she came to my bedroom to try and hear it from there. After her failing to hear it from my window, we went outside to the front porch and just stood there for a bit, like for a minute or two. My mom asked if I could hear it, which I confirmed. The weird thing (or maybe not so weird, who knows??) is that the owl stopped like 30 seconds later after we stepped out and I didn't hear it for the rest of the night.
My mom ended up lighting some candles once we went back inside and told me to cover my ears with some cotton balls, which I did. My dog finally calmed down, too. Half an hour later, or so, I fell asleep after watching some YouTube to calm myself 💀💀
The next day you know what my mom tells me?? She didn't hear ANYTHING despite me clearly hearing it when we went outside. Her hearing is good, so I was like what do you mean????? I lowkey was questioning myself after that, but then I remembered my dog's reaction and I felt comforted by that because that meant I didn't make it up somehow.
My mom called my grandma to tell her about it and *something* else because they both know *stuff* (I'm sorry, I'm trying not to share too much, but I've grown up being told witchcraft is real; also just to clear up, neither my mom nor my grandma, or me, are witches), so anyway, that was a few weeks ago.
Well, last night I heard it AGAIN!! I decided to ignore it this time, which was easy to do because it was further away from the house and my dog couldn't hear it, so no barking. I went to sleep without any issues. This morning, I told my mom and she said she thought she heard it, but since she was, once again, watching her Turkish telenovela and I didn't say anything, she continued on with her activities.
The thing is, I had a dream and it was a bit weird and creepy because of one specific thing, and I can't help but wonder if it has to do with the owl...??? Idk, but in the dream my grandma was there, one of my aunts who I haven't seen in like 15 years since I was last in MX for our visit, and one female acquaintance. For some reason, this last woman pulled out chicken legs 😭😭??? which was the creepy part about this dream!! She positioned the chicken legs in a way to show me a specific length and for some freaking reason they were talking about me marrying, so this woman said to look at the length and that that's how long my future husband's hands would be, which was pretty long. My aunt ended up adding, "se va a casar con un gigante [she's going to get married with a giant]" and that's where my dream ended.
I told my mom about the dream after she told me she thought she heard the owl, too, and she said nothing. She just stared at me before she said she needed to go to her room, so idk if maybe the owl has some significance ??
Besides the chicken legs, I thought my aunt's comment was funny because... have you guessed it? I thought about Miguel and how we always say he's a giant and the length the lady showed me was about Miguel's hand size lmaoo
So that's it, but man, the first time I heard the owl a few weeks ago actually left me a little freaked out, but I still love owls. Anyway... that's it. I thought it'd be fun to share since it's October 🍁🎃
#alondra yaps 🍂#the way I only decided to share this because of Miguel lmaooo#what if this is a sign a Miguel lookalike in body and soul is entering my life soon??#imagine!!!

#161 old memories, tape that Gertrude should have gave them, Jon says “I love you”, they don’t need to eat to live
#162 Gertrude and Gerry bonding, Tim and Sasha talking about a very relevant subject and Jon and Martin are leaving the safe house.
#163 [VIETNAM FLASHBACKS] [BAGPIPES INTENSIFY]
#164 Gross statement about an infection in a town and Helen talking to Jon and Martin like a proud aunt is beautiful. “I knew you crazy kids would make it work!”
#165 “Ceaseless Watcher, turn your gaze upon this wretched thing.” The Stranger statement. Not!Sasha messed up!!
#166 Martin suddenly is on a murder episode and a dude turned into a worm. Helen says “Slay!”
#167 “Yes, Martin, you are my reason.” Sweet bonding and why Gertrude didn’t have anymore assists.
#168 “I’m not going to kill a man just because you’re jealous!” “Why not?” Oh, Martin. Oliver Banks shall live another day and we are crossing The End domain
#169 Let’s willingly run into a burning building, disregarding your boyfriend and getting revenge together! Jude is now dead and Martin was just struggling in the background. He chose revenge over his boyfriend. Interesting. “We’re burning!”
#170 “I’m Martin Blackwood, and I am not lonely anymore!” “Oh… Hello!”
#171 No way I just spent 23 minutes listening to Jon talk about skin flowers in a botanical garden. “That your boyfriend?” “It is, actually.” “Oh.”
#172 Creepy theatre show that made me genuinely uncomfortable with The Web
#173 Where do you think all of the children went? That’s right! The Dark with Callum! Yay!
#174 Simon calling Jon killing him “rude” is hilarious and immediately dipping is iconic. Weird Vast domain with big explosions. Helen loves some good gossip.
#175 The Extinction items, hate for umbrellas, and Martin’s squelchy couch. We’re going to The Hunt next. Oh no.
#176 Adoptive uncle Trevor and Julia are dead. AWESOME HUNT STATEMENT! And we got Basira! :D
#177 ‘Dr. David’ Jon is so hot. This episode has so many trigger warnings. Helen is so silly. Basira is rad, staying with her boys. Won’t let them have a moment tho
#178 More Flesh. Gross processing line and Jon admits that the thing that traumatized him the most was Daisy going to kill him in the woods. Poor babies.
#179 Daisy is shot and killed. Basira is on her own and I have a reason to give Jon a cane.
#180 I have never felt more serene in my life. I can’t even describe it. I was smiling, giggling, and everything feels okay. Salesa and Annabelle are here and I love Salesa’s voice and HE CAN PLAY THE PIANO! Teaholding fluff, om nom nom, this episode is one of my favorites. The I-Spy game <3
#181 They decide to stay at Upton House for a bit longer before leaving. Jon feels his powers again and forgets the whole experience of ignorance. Pity. Seemed like a nice place. I like Salesa.
#182 Anatomy Class student hospital and Breekon asks Jon to kill him. I feel bad for him. :(
#183 “I’m sure I love you.” “I love you too.” THEY SAID IT!! Helen was concerned for them. She’s like a wine aunt who acts motherly to them. Also, Martin’s domain…
#184 Jon made Jordan an entity. That’s a lotta ants! Jon is just… so complicated.
#185 Ouch. Police brutality and wrongful imprisonment are rough subjects. That guy pleading out to Martin HURT. Martin is… somewhere at the end. Alone again, oh, Jonny, I feel horrible.
#186 Martin went from being a joke in Jon’s anger to being one of the most well-developed characters. He is either going to kill himself of Jon. Martin legit talks to himself. Statement made me cry. This better end with them being happy together.
#187 HELEN! D: Aw, man… I liked her. That poor woman. Calm down, Jon! Helen was their friend till the end. Dang it, that was a nail-biter.
#188 We’re in London now! Eyes, man. They’re everywhere. We grieve for Helen a bit. Did I mention EYES?
#189 MEL AND GEORGIE! OMG! They… made a cult and can hide from The Eye. Great.
#190 Fresh take on modern dating! Antichrist plus one! Archivist mocks poems, beloved pet turned monster, and a blind prophet
#191 Jon sleeps with his eyes open. Georgie wants to avenge her cat (I think I’ve seen this film before), mystery can, and Jon and Martin discuss death. Sobbing atm.
#192 Rosie is literally just going with the flow. It’s weird to see someone else’s perspective on things. Jonah’s incantation is awesome and gosh, I love Martin
#193 Elias 'high as a kite' Bouchard’s origins. Jonah’s distorted voice is hot.
#194 THEY HAD AN ARGUMENT D: After a gruesome metamorphosis statement, Jon tried to find Martin to apologize only to find he was taken to HILL TOP FREAKIN ROAD
#195 Just Basira and Jon, catching up and trudging through water. Omg. The Mr. Spider tape.
#196 Earth shattering rip-in-space time crap. Annabelle is wicked cool. Martin keeps getting sucked into things AND THE TAPES!! ASDFEKGLZMV
#197 MARTIN! ANNABELLE! TAPES! THE LIGHTER! INTER-DIMENSIONAL PIT! WE NEED TO DESTROY JONAH AND THE EYE SIMULTANEOUSLY! LES GO!
#198 If your friends jumped off a cliff, would you too? Ew, bones reforming. Chill ep. Silly.
#199 Group agrees on plan after ten minute discussion. Martin consulting Jon while he cries in his arms HURT!! Also, Mel thanks Jon. This is going to end horribly, isn’t it?
#200 Statement ends.
Crying tally: |||| |||| (I cried ten [10] times listening to this stupid podcast)

@tolkienocweek Day 6 - Some cute kids in the background of The Hobbit fix-it AU
'I will come back', promised Alba before leaving. Again.
'You've said that already', scowled Gary.
'And I came back, right?' She squatted down to look in his eyes directly. 'Don't I always do what I promised?'
'Always', mumbled Gary and gripped sister's hand. Yola was silent and he was feeling that she's trying to not burst into tears.
'Maybe, you should stay', offered Thorin.
'Maybe you should shut up', snapped out Alba. 'I won't left you there without healer'.
'But you've defeated the dragon, right?' Asked Yola shyly.
'Yes. And a lot of people will know about it very soon. And some of them might want to get unattended gold. A big battle is about to start. I have to protect my friends and our town. And aunt Wiga will look after you.'
They promised to be sane and listen aunt Wiga, who was so old that she was forgetting everything and falling asleep in the middle of a talk, so, it was more like they were looking after her. The next day they spent by the window, looking at men of Lake Town walking past aunt's house armed with what they could find. At night Yola cried anyway and Gary had to calm her down.
'Everything could be much worse', said he. 'Alba said that Smaug was going to burn all of us and the whole town.'
Yola stopped crying and started to hiccup of fear.
'I mean... if they defeated even him then we have nothing to worry about!' It sounded a bit falsely, after all Smaug was alone and now the whole army of orcs is going to attack Erebor.
'What if she won't return?' Yola sniffed. 'Like dad, and uncle, and Bren.'
'She promised to return, you've heard, right?'
'But sometimes you just can't do what you promised.'
Gary shaked his head.
'No. Not she. Not Alba. She can everything and she always does what she promised. And she loves us. Do you remember what she said - that we're her?'
Alba said that not to them, and didn't even know they were listening, but that means it was truth for sure, right?
One evening, four or five days after Alba, Thorin and their friends' second departure to Erebor, Yola went up to Gary, hugged him tightly and whispered: 'I won't leave you. If we'll stay alone I'll take care of you'.
Gary swallowed a lump in his throat, hugged sister back and said: 'No. I will take care of you. I'm older.'
'For six minutes!'
'No matter! I'll take care of you.'
'Maybe... maybe, let's take care of each other? Together?'
'Yes. Yes, I like it. Hey, you know what?'
'What?'
'I'm lucky to have such a smart sister.'
The next morning he woke Yola up by loud scream: 'They're back! They're alive!'
'They' included Alba, Thorin, Mr. Baggins and giant eagle who looked not very happy to be in this exact place and this exact time. All four settled down in the courtyard, dusted with the first snow that had fallen overnight. With indistinct but happy screams Gary and Yola ran to Alba and were hugged by her right hand. Instead of the left one she had en empty sleeve knotted near the elbow.
'What's with your hand?' Yola rounded her eyes.
Alba waved aside: 'I was fighting with a huge evil orc. He cut off my hand, but while I was talking his teeth out, Thorin came in time and killed him.'
'Cool!' the twins exhaled in unison.
'See?' Alba elbowed Thorin in the side, which made him wince - bandages on his chest were visible from under the cloack. 'You're the only one who's mad because of my hand.'
'I think, he's not the only one', said Mr. Baggins rubbing his bandaged head.
'Yeah. When my mother will learn that I lost hand and almost died, she'll kill me, then you,' she elbowed Thorin again, 'then Gandalf, and then, probably, me one more time. But you know what? Before dealing with this I'm going to sleep for forty eight hours. At least.'
With those words Alba walked to the house, carelessly waving her empty sleeve.
'Don't worry,' said Yola. 'She won't let anybody kill you.'
Thorin laughed: 'Yeah, I've already understood it yesterday'.

I am so tired.
Yesterday I ended up in the town I grew up in as my cousin still lives there, I went because she had lost her cat and was crying because he didn't come home. Bad move because I left after 5 hours with such a bad migraine and so so triggered.
Whilst I was there I also had to pick up niece 2 and nephew from primary school and despite it not being the same school it made me soo uncomfortable. Especially because niece 2 is the same age the cocsa started and she's very thin like how I used to be. It honestly made me want to throw up. Looking at her feels like looking in the past and seeing how I was at the age and my goodness I was so tiny.
I also spent time talking to my aunt who's gently pushing me to go private therapy despite it being expensive. She said that a lot of therapists are able to make concessions for disabled and unemployed people especially if their prices are already quite high. She asked me if the therapists had replied and I told her about the one that emailed back but the other one never got back to me and I've been patiently waiting but she asked me why I didn't email or phone again because it had been two weeks and I told her I didn't want to come across as needly lol. She was like "needy when you're a client??!!" and it was only then did I realise that I don't think you can be need in therapy lmao.
So I emailed the therapist a short email reminding her about my previous email and she replied this morning apologising and saying that she must have missed it. So I rewrote my initial email to her about concessions and working with someone with DID to hopefully get a email back soon. I'm glad my aunty prompted me because I've been losing my mind! I need therapy so badly
I also had a really horrible nightmare last night which spun my brain a bit. It always messes me up when nightmares mix up abusive people and people who haven't hurt you. Like why are you doing this brain?! Please stop. Very graphic and very gross.
I think it makes sense given that I was stuck in my home town for like 5 hours and it was all based in that horrible house too. Not a fan. I need therapy...
Monday I spent the day with S at her house which was nice. We stayed in so I could rest and she ordered Pizza. It's nice to be able to just chill with a friend.
I did end up leaving because my brain started glitching a bit and I could feel someone blue around because for some reason someone pink was close. No idea why and I can't remember what triggered us but I felt quite dissociated on my way back home which wasn't good because driving dissociated isn't fun as I start feeling like I'm teleporting places.
I don't remember much after that either.

What are your thoughts over the movie? I have some myself (and a mild mental breakdown over the Thing™), but overall, it was good. I want to talk about it with anyone, lol
Okay, so....
Spoilers below the cut:
Firstly, I loved it. You can tell how much effort they put into this movie, and it really shows. Kudos to everyone involved.
Things I liked:
Piper Rubio did amazing. No comment beyond that. Abby is one of my favorite characters now, and if anything happens to her, I'll cry.
Actually, all the kids did a wonderful job. Especially Grant Feely. He really embodied that creepy, restless spirit vibe.
Mike and Abby's sibling relationship was everything to me!
Vanessa asking Mike if he wants to dance with her (OMG).
The Springbonnie suit looked great!
Mike having a little bit of an attitude (I love him so much)!
The animatronics were cool. I like that they took the time to make them seem friendly, and almost childlike, before switching gears.
Things I didn't like:
I'm not an expert on filmmaking, so excuse me if I'm wrong here. But the pacing was all over the place. The first act of the movie was perfect, and then the second act was....fast. Like fast-fast. Based on what other people are saying, I'm 99.9% sure they cut out a lot of footage.
This one might come back to bite me in the ass later, but some plotlines felt unnecessary. I know this is FNAF and complicated is written somewhere between Freddy and Fazbear, but did we really need some side plot about an evil aunt? They didn't go anywhere with it, and we still don't know what happened to her. Did Golden Freddy K.O her? Kill her? Who knows? Because we certainly don't. We see her legs, and then she's never mentioned again.
I don't know if this is controversial, but I hate that Vanessa's an Afton. Maybe it's because I was so set on Mike being an Afton, but I really, really hate that they changed it. (I'll elaborate on that more down below).
I felt like they could have given us some more background. Some more flashbacks to the 80s. Anything.
I know I'm being overdramatic, but having the plot twist be Vanessa's an Afton kind of killed all my excitement. Which is stupid, I know, but yeah....
I mean, I'm still going to write fanfictions about the movie, and about all the ways that Mike Schmidt is actually Michael Afton.
--Sorry in advance, but I'm going to ramble--
I have a feeling that William knows Mike better than he's letting on. Of course, he did kidnap Garrett, who could have told William everything about Mike. He could have also watched the news and seen Mike with his parents, asking for Garrett to come home.
But that's not the vibe i was getting from William during the office scene. But I'll let you all decide for yourselves:
William Afton is a skilled manipulator and actor, but the expression he makes looking down at his coffee doesn't scream, "holy shit, the brother of my victim is sitting in my office." He has no reason to look concerned. Mike has no idea who he is, and he isn't even looking at William. So, why put on a show?
Also, the change in his attitude is telling. He went from cold and distant to personable in a heartbeat.
Of course, there's always the possibility that I'm totally wrong, and William is scared he's been found out. Which could be true, given that he doesn't hesitate to fuck Mike up the second he's able to.
--
In the same vein, why would William Afton-a guy known for killing/kidnapping kids around the pizzeria, or at least close to the pizzeria-drive to the middle of nowhere, pick a random kid, and kill him? I know he's crazy, but I don't buy it.
Some people are saying that Garrett is a Charlie parallel, and that Mike is Henry's son. Which could be the case, I mean, we see a mechanic in the training video that bears a striking resemblance to the actor that plays Mike's dad. I don't know if those two things are connected, but it's interesting to point out.
But, like I said, it's weird that William went out of his way to kidnap a kid for no reason. And he likely wasn't in a costume (at least I hope he wasn't, because if he was and no one saw who took Garrett, I think a kidnapped child is the least of their worries.) So, how did he convince Garrett, who was by himself for a grand total of five second, to get in the car? Maybe he offered him candy or toys? I dunno.
I might go into all the evidence/theories so far that Mike's an Afton in another post. And where they're going with Garrett's character. But yeah....
Everyone, please, feel free to share your thoughts on the movie. I would love to hear them :D!!
((Thank you for this question btw <3333))

Kiya, for the ask game : "Send me a character and I'll tell you my ", can I ask for Miwa (JJK) or RockLock (BNHA) or Haru (Balance Unlimited)? Thx :D
I gotta go with my man, Rock Lock. It's been a while since I have and come on. Y'all know what month it is?!
My first impression: Bro asked about why kids were at a meeting about the yakuza and my first thought was "you have asked a very sensible question, I think I'm going to like you very much". I was right.
My impression now: Oh, Rock Lock is definitely in the top ten of my favorite MHA characters and after Miruko, he is my favorite Pro Hero.
Favorite thing about that character: I already took to him because of his personality. But I definitely admired the fact we have a family man here. I'm a sucker for badass dads who love their families.
Least favorite thing: My guy deserves more shine, just saying. Also, the fact that his wife and son don't have first names. I wanna know their names!
Favorite line/scene: Other than the hospital scene, which I'll talk about later, I gotta say his debut is one of my favorite scenes and I like this line he says "U.A. students or not, kids are kids. Of course I was worried about 'em." To me, it reflects that Rock Lock does have a caring heart. Even after that bit, he acknowledges that younger heroes like Midoriya just need room to shine to show what they're capable of. He's a guy who won't act like he doesn't care. He'll admit he's worried, but he'll still support you like an good person... a good parent will do.
Favorite interaction that character has with another: I want a whole segment of Rock Lock with his family. That hospital scene where his wife comes in running and crying with their son and how she just hugs him and the way he hugs back touched my heart so much! It's crazy to me, now that I'm thinking about it,screening! Pro Hero can I think of with a loving marriage and they barely have had screentime! Everyone else is either single or if they are married, there's problems (Endeavor and Captain Celebrity).
A character that I wish that character would interact with more: I wish, how I wish, him and Miruko had scenes together. They're both heroes who actually take being a hero seriously and you cannot tell me they wouldn't be besties. In my fic , There's Miruko, There's Rumi, they're friends and Miruko is Rock Lock's son's honorary aunt.
Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: I haven't seen all of Craig of the Creek, just a couple of episodes (I have younger siblings who watch it) but Rock Lock reminds me of Craig's dad. A man who cares about family and does his best for them? I'm here for it!!
A headcanon about that character: He definitely is that parent who attends birthday parties and PTA meetings (when Lil' Takagi goes to school). I headcanon that he and his wife went to school together and also had friends that live in the same area. In their adult years, some of them are married and have kids and whenever there's some party or play date, best believe the Takagi's are there.
A song that reminds of that character: I can't even think of one right now, but I'm gonna need NemRaps, DizzyEight, 954mari... anybody to make one!
An unpopular opinion about that character: I personally feel like Rock Lock is one the better heroes. Again, I hate that when he debuted the fandom was quick to hate on him and call him "mean" because he had a point. Why in the hell was kids dragged into a situation as dangerous ad dealing with the yakuza? And then it makes sense Rock Lock would think like that! He is a married man with a son of his own! And it wasn't like he didn't think Midoriya or anybody was capable because he does recognize their potential. What he's about is if you're going to take up a duty that can cost you your life, be serious about and not treat it as some game. It's funny to me that someone actually had the nerve once to compare him and Endeavor even though in season 5, Endeavor was quick to act like a brat because Bakugou and Midoriya was joining Todoroki for the Work Studies.
Favorite picture: I won't lie, I totally get why he is a married man. Also can we talk again about the hospital scene? They are a beautiful family!! 😭

AITA for getting angry with my aunt for being uncomfortable with me doing things to show affection to my girlfriend in front of my family at the dinner table?
Could this post be tagged 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ anon so I can find it more easily? Thank you!
(Possible homophobia and transphobia trigger warning)
I (transmasc enby) and my mom went over to my aunt's house for dinner, because family from far away was in town at her place and I wanted to see them. My girlfriend (who lives with me because she moved from far away and we're also very serious about our relationship) came along despite dealing with a headache and neck pain at the time because she wanted to meet the family from out of town (she'd already met my mom and the aunt hosting the dinner before).
At some point after dinner my girlfriend's head and neck pain were really starting to bother her, so she asked for some migraine meds and for me to massage her neck and head to try and ease the discomfort. We didn't leave the dinner table because we were still trying to be part of the conversation, although ultimately she did go lay down on the couch for a bit because it was getting to be too much. Girlfriend and I were kinda stuck because we rode over with my mom.
The next day, aunt bothered my mom a lot and insisted that she let us know how "uncomfortable" we made "everyone". No elaboration whatsoever but she really pushed about it to the point that my mom felt forced to convey the message. Essentially aunt wanted her to tell us that anything besides hand holding was not okay and we made everyone upset, but did not elaborate on what we did wrong. This made my girlfriend cry, and it made me furious (for the record, the next time I spent time with this side of the family all we did was hold hands and aunt still looked at the two of us with disgust so 🤷).
I reached out to her to 1) let her know she was either going to have to tolerate our relationship or cut us off; and 2) try to confirm exactly what it was we did wrong that night so we don't do it again. She told me my girlfriend and I were being inappropriate at her kitchen table because I was rubbing her head and neck, and that we should have either dealt with it where nobody else had to see or gone home (once again, we rode over with my mom so going home wasn't really an option). She insisted it wasn't about us being a queer couple but given that she believes gay people go to hell and has said transphobic things in the past I'm doubtful she's being truthful.
I told her that was such a stupid thing to be weird about, that maybe she should ask questions instead of being immediately judgemental, that it's unfair to ask someone to leave when they're dealing with chronic pain, and that it was hypocritical of her to be weirded out by that when the family was making inappropriate jokes at the table earlier and that was apparently just fine. I admit I also used the opportunity to air out a couple other grievances I had such as: the time she yelled at me for something I didn't do and said very mean things to me because of it at a time where I was not in a good place mentally (she refuses to apologize for this), and her deliberately deadnaming me and using the wrong pronouns to refer to me. I told her if she can't respect me and my girlfriend then I would like if she didn't talk to me anymore. Thankfully she's at least been respecting my wishes in this regard.
Evidently she got very upset about it because she said something to another aunt, who then got angry with me and refused to listen to me, telling me I should just apologize if I made someone uncomfortable (but that's a story for another AITA).
Am I the asshole?

For the asks! 🖇🍄🌺!!
🖇 what are your favorite asks to answer
lmao stuff about me? i dont know!!! uh gosh, i'd say i love to answer asks about my writing or anything creative ive taken on. i love to answer general questions about things. idk once i got someone who sent me an ask about a computer issue they were having and we worked that out through dms haha. but i also just love general chit chat asks too like, i dont think you could ever go wrong sending me something though I might take six business years to respond haha
🍄 what is something that’s happened in your life that you wish you could go back and change?
Honestly, part of me says that if I could go back, I'd never agree to work for my aunt in 2016 and thus, I'd never agree to work for her again in 2017 after cutting contact with her back in 2013. I'd never have agreed to move into the house across the street from hers and take care of an ailing family friend and take the blame for every single thing that went wrong even though I did everything she asked. I'd never have agreed to let her control me as much as she did.
Which would be very fair of me to say because that would have been so much time that I wouldn't have had to deal with her but. But. It was also the catalyst to get me out of South Carolina. It was the catalyst to get me to leave the fucking state that made me miserable. So like. I don't know. If I could still have the same outcome without all that heartache and pain, 100%
Otherwise, I'd go back and fucking make sure my name was on the beneficiary list for mom's insurance money so my aunt would have never gotten her stupid little hands on it. So I could already have her a headstone on her grave instead of still struggling to pay it off because no one else in this family will help me. I'd make sure that I had photo copies of the forms showing that my name was on it and that I was the beneficiary to her insurance money. I'd use it to buy mom's headstone, pay off some of her debt and use it to better myself like she wanted me to. Instead of fucking paying it into a dog rescue.
lmao sorry that got a bit mean. im still fucking bitter about that to be honest.
🌺 what is the best gift someone has ever given you and why is it so important
there is a joke in here somewhere about how my kid was born literally 3 days before my birthday and that was probably the greatest gift I ever received in my life, barring i guess, the gift of life, ofc. And by joke I mean I'm 100% serious when I say that that kid is the best thing that's ever happened to me, not to be disgustingly domestic on main. that kid and my husband are both the best gifts that I could have ever gotten in life. not 2 be sappy or anything. i guess if we're talking about a physical non-person gift then it'd be my class ring; it's not technically a "gift" because I picked it out but I count it. It's the last remaining thing that I have that my mom bought me before she passed. It's a white gold ring with my graduation year and a ruby gemstone on it. means the absolute world to me and I'd cry and be distraught if I lost it

“Don’t leave me yet, it’s too soon.”
You were hanging out with him again, when a ghost you knew as “Tsukasa”, who referred to himself as “Amane’s” younger twin brother, horribly tore Mitsuba’s soul out. Literately.
Warnings: a whole shit ton of angst, cursing/foul language, mentions of death, maybe mentions of suicide(? from reader), Tsukasa needing some serious mental help, implications that reader is female (she/her), implication of some type of sh?, etc,.
(A/N) : So again, it’s proofread. But if there’s anything I missed lmk!! Also it switches to your aunt Autumn perspective after a bit, so you have explanation, then Kou’s. And, yeah I did add more conflict lmao.
Prev. >> Next
"Soo.." Kou hummed as he walked home with you.
"So?" You repeated, your voice a little giddy.
"How did things go with your little ghost lover huh?" He teased, a knowing smirk on his face.
Your face flushed, "He's not my-"
"I'm just kidding, calm down." He laughed.
"But." he said "I think it went well by the way I saw you two hugging each other like that."
"Like what?" You asked.
"Like you weren't gonna see him again." He hummed.
But the way you tensed up didn't go unnoticed by him.
"What's wrong?" He asked, turning back to kick a pebble on the sidewalk as you walked.
"What do you mean?" You replied.
"I'm not blind." He sighed, obviously knowing something was up.
You bit your lip turning the other way.
"It's nothing."
"You swear on my life?" He asked, sighing again when he heard you go silent.
"I had a nightmare." you finally confessed.
You had already got to your house, so you just sat down on the steps of the front porch to explain.
He sat by you, waiting patiently.
"What was it about?" He asked, careful not to make you uncomfortable.
“He died again, Kou.” You struggled not to sob.
Before Kou could reply, or say something to comfort you, you continued.
“Last night. I heard this voice. It kept telling me, it’s time, it’s time. Then I heard a scream, my scream. But it wasn’t pained, so I knew I was just horrified or something.” You winced, memory fogging up.
“T.. There was this horrible squelching noise, like you know. It sounded like something was being torn out of something, out of someone.” You rambled, eyes darting all around the street, desperately trying to not cry.
“And then I..” you stopped, choking out a sob.
You felt sick just remembering it, clasping a hand over your mouth, as if that would help keep the bile down.
“And then I saw him, dead.” You choked.
“He was dead, Kou.” You sobbed.
“The last thing I heard before I woke up, was a voice echoing for me to ‘wake up’.” You cried out, and Kou’s arms instinctively wrapped around you as an attempt to comfort you.
Kou pursed his lips in a tight line as you sobbed into his shoulder, he knew this meant something. And he knew he had to tell Teru about it.
He gently pushed you a bit, so he could look at your face. He wiped your tears away.
“He’s going to be okay.” He assured, though he wasn’t so sure himself.
“He’s going to be okay.” He repeated, though this time it sounded like he was trying to reassure himself.
.
.
After a while, and after you finally collected yourself. You had said your goodbye to Kou and went inside your home.
Your aunt seemed to be waiting anxiously by the kitchen counter, but she sighed in relief when she saw you.
“Oh good, I was seriously starting to get worried.” She looked like she just saw a ghost, or maybe it wasn’t a ghost she saw, but she looked terrified.
You noticed the home phone cell was hanging off the counter by it’s cord, and there was a bat on the ground.
“Everything okay?” You asked, noting the way she rushed to lock the door.
She made a sort of ‘pssh’ sound, following it up with “Of course, why would anything be wrong?”
Which honestly made you worry a little, but when she assured you everything was okay and she was just worried for you, you dropped the subject.
“Well, I’m going to go shower and then go to bed.” You say, already starting up the stairs.
“Okay, you do that.” She called as you already were halfway up.
You thought it was weird, she never acted that way. If anything, she encouraged you to stay out later if it meant you were having fun, as long as you let her know. And Kou did let her know. So why was she freaking out? You wanted to pry into it, but seeing as she wouldn’t budge you decided against it. Opting to just take a shower, get ready for bed, and go to sleep. Though you couldn’t help but worry as she seemed really shaken up.
.
.
Once she was sure you were asleep, she climbed up the stairs to check on you. She sighed, relieved that you were okay. She slumped herself against the corridor wall, sliding down till she ended up sitting with her knees bent in front of her.
What had happened?
She was just doing what she usually did while she would wait for you. Cleaning, tidying up, and doing her self care before you got back. When suddenly she heard the voices too.
At first, she didn’t believe it, thinking that maybe all this talk about the supernatural and dead friends was getting to her head.
And she did end up believing it was all in her head and was just hearing things from the anxiety.
At least, for a bit.
She had heard a loud screech, an inhuman one. It shook her down to her bones with how intense it is.
Then there was a thud, but it wasn’t just a small thud from something she knew she left almost hanging of the counter, it was a loud THUD.
Like a body falling to its death.
“Hello?” She called, turning her head to where she heard the sound.
No response.
“Anybody there?” She called again, setting the lathered up dish to the side and dried her hands to investigate the racket.
She tiptoed, thinking maybe someone broke in. So just in case, she grabbed a bat she had laying around in case of this kind of situation.
But as she swung around the corner, she was horrified.
It was you.
But it wasn’t you at the same time.
You hung there, kind of just dangling. A rope tied tightly around your neck, making said spot purple due to the lack of oxygen, she assumed.
The sight alone horrified her, making her drop the bat she was holding so tightly.
She didn’t even notice she wasn’t blinking until she did, and the image in front of her was gone.
She backed away, slowly, eyes stuck on the exact spot—as if it might reappear if she didn’t. She grabbed the home phone, quickly dialing Kou’s phone number, which she had memorized knowing he’d know where to find you or he’d be with you if you weren’t home yet.
Once he picked up the phone, she began mumbling out stuff.
“Where is (Y/N)?”
“Is she okay?”
“She’s not in trouble is she?”
“Is she with you?”
“IS SHE OKAY?”
Her voice practically echoed in Kou’s ears, as he tried to make sense of what she was saying, and reassure her that you were still at school, probably talking to that ghost you called “Mitsuba”.
She asked him frantically if he could go get you, that’s its too late for you to be out, insisting you’d be safer at home.
Which was unusual to Kou too.
“Yeah, hang on.” Was all he said so he could try to register why she was panicking like that, before hanging up and heading out the door.
Were you in danger? He thought. But if you were he knew you were more than capable of protecting yourself. Still, your aunt’s frantic panic from earlier worried him.
He was relieved to see you, safe, with Mitsuba.
He was going to call you over, tell you it was time to head home cause your aunt was worrying so much, but he waited. He wanted for your guys’s moment to last a little longer.
So when you hugged Mitsuba after he said he finally remembered you, he thought then was a good time.
“I’m not interrupting anything am I?” he asked.
He didn’t miss the way Mitsuba glared at him, and he chuckled lightheartedly at it. He watched as you wiped your tears, your laugh coming out a bit choked, but he knew it was a happy one.
—
Back home, your aunt was pacing around in the corridor.
You hadn’t gotten home yet,
Kou kept only reading her messages and not telling her if you were okay or not,
You weren’t answering your phone,
She was panicking.
Quickly she texted Kou to hurry over with you, and continued to anxiously pace the halls. She looked back at where she saw it, saw you. And shakily exhaled in relief when she didn’t see it again.
Finally, she thought as she heard the door crack open.
“Oh good, I was starting to get worried.” She laughed, hurriedly going to lock the door.
.
.
And that brought you to the moment at hand.
She kept glancing at your sleeping figure every few minutes, as if you’d somehow be dead if she didn’t. You could feel it, someone watching you while you slumbered. But you shook it off, not really interested in it.
Eventually, exhaustion caught up with her. Both from the anxiety and nerves, and from having acted so frantic. She fell asleep right outside your door.
You yawned, feeling the warm sunlight leak into your room from the crack in the curtains. You got up, getting dressed, and went to the bathroom to quickly wash your face before deciding you looked well enough to head out.
The yelp you let out when you saw your aunt outside your door was loud enough to wake her up.
“Oh, okay good.” She sighed after seeing you were alright.
You raised an eyebrow.
“What’re you doing outside my door?” You asked, a little startled.
“Am I in trouble?” You asked again, to which she shook her head.
“No, no. Just. Personal reasons.” She sighed, standing up and dusting herself off.
“Alright,” you said after a moment of hesitation “are you sure you’re okay?”
“I’m fine,” she said, but after noticing the slight attitude she gave you she added “thanks for worrying, I appreciate it really. But I’m okay.”
You gave her a suspicious glance before mumbling a quiet ‘if you say so’ and heading downstairs.
“I didn’t make breakfast cause you know, but if you finish getting ready I should have something ready by then.” She suggested, already getting the items for it.
“No it’s okay, I’m good. You seem tired, you should rest.” You say, grabbing your shoes.
Slipping them on, you continued “Besides, I’m not really hungry anyways.”
“Oh okay, you sure?” She asked.
You nodded.
“I’m good, but thanks! Rest mom!” You shouted as you ran out the door.
“Don’t be out too late!” She warned, before she heard the door shut.
You walked out, bathing in the cool morning air, sighing—it felt peaceful. You looked over, and Kou shot you a smile from the end of the street, so you ran to catch up.
“You ready?” He asked, to which you nodded.
“Let’s go.” You confirmed.
.
.
Arriving at school, you both decided to hang out at school, not really interested in the activities. You knew Teru might bite you guys in the ass about it, but you also knew he’d help you with the work.
You headed over, with really no direction. Just the sole intention of finding Mitsuba.
And after a while you did, greeting him with a smile. He only rolled his eyes, but you noticed the slight twitch in his lips. He smiled. Kou cleared his throat.
“Before you had that.. remembrance, I was going to say we should help Mitsuba figure out his unfinished business!” Kou exclaimed excitedly, making you laugh.
“Shut up you hella lame pervert with a traffic-safety earring,” Mitsuba scoffed “she had every right to react like that.”
“And I’m not saying she didn’t.” Kou sighed, “point is—“
“I don’t even know your name, and you’re going to supposedly help me?” Mitsuba laughed sarcastically.
“Oh that’s right.” Kou began, before pausing in realization “Wait haven’t you heard my name from (Y/N)?” He asked.
“Maybe but.. can’t remember.” Mitsuba lied shrugged, with an ‘innocent’ pout.
Kou’s eyebrow twitched, making you laugh.
“Well then,” Kou started, clearing his throat “my name is Kou Minamoto. The second son in an ancient and honorable exorcist family!”
Mitsuba clasped a hand over his mouth, struggling not to burst out in laughter “That has got to be the most stupidest thing I’ve heard, you’ve been watching too much anime, creepy.” scooting away to make it even more dramatic.
Kou pouted with a huff, and you leaned against the nearest wall, eyes glimmering with amusement as you watched.
“What does the self proclaimed ‘exorcist’ ,” Mitsuba snorted “with a hella-lame traffic-safety earring want with me?”
“It’s Kou!” Said boy corrected.
“So, the hella-lame pervert with a traffic-safety earring.” Mitsuba repeated with a cocky grin.
“Kou! It’s Kou!” He insisted, his patience running thin when he heard Mitsuba laugh at him “damn I’m seriously gonna erase you!”
Laughing, Mitsuba looked at you and put on an innocent face.
“Please don’t be violent?” He taunted, before bursting out into another fit of giggles.
Kou sighed, grabbing him and pinning him against the ground with his staff directly above him, making Mitsuba yelp.
“(Y/N) he’s gonna kill me! He’s gonna kill me!” He wailed, as if asking you for help.
“You have five seconds to tell me your unfinished business, or I’ll erase you! You hear me?!” Kou demanded, pressing him into the ground with his knee.
“I’m sorry, ‘m sorry!” Mitsuba dramatically cried, nodding frantically.
Kou got off of him, and Mitsuba sat up with a pout on his face.
“I already know your name is Mitsuba, but..” Kou paused, thinking of something to ask him “how old are you?”
No answer.
“Year in school?”
“He died in middle school, Kou.” You sighed, feeling sick as you remembered the nightmares.
“What’s your ‘unfinished business’?” Kou asked, turning to you miserably, as if asking “Can I?” when Mitsuba didn’t reply, but you just laughed and shook your head, with a smile that said “No it’s fine, it’s endearing after a bit.”
Growing frustrated, he grabbed Mitsuba with a glare, fistful of his scarf.
Mitsuba yelped.
“Stop, it’s a picture! It’s a photograph!” Mitsuba cried, struggling to escape Kou’s grip.
“A.. picture?” Kou asked, a bit confused as he let go of Mitsuba’s shirt.
“I.. I think.” Mitsuba mumbled.
His eyebrows furrowed as he glared up at Kou “You can’t just go asking me about my ‘unfinished business’. I honestly don’t have an answer at the top of my head.”
Then adding, “But before I died, there must’ve been a picture I wanted to take.. I think.”
“If you’re actually going to help me finish my ‘unfinished business’, then go get my camera. I’m pretty sure (Y/N) knows where to find it.” Mitsuba muttered, awkwardly shifting around.
.
.
“He’s so annoying..” Kou sighed as you both were on your way to the photographer club’s classroom.
You laughed.
“I think it’s funny.”
“Yeah, when it’s not you.” Kou groaned in annoyance, earning another chuckle from you.
You entered the classroom, only to see it empty.
“I remember Mitsuba once tried to get me to join the photographer club.” You sighed, grabbing his camera from a counter that had Mitsuba’s name written under it, and then a date. His death date.
“Why didn’t you?” Kou asked.
You shrugged, already making your way out.
“Didn’t really interest me. But god are Mitsuba’s photo’s good. It feels like you’re actually there.” You explained with a smile.
“What do you mean?” Kou asked again, not really understanding what you meant.
“Oh, most of the pictures I’ve seen him take were of scenery.” You hummed, turning on the camera and opening it’s gallery.
“Look,” you said, showing Kou some of the pictures Mitsuba took.
Kou looked in awe, his eyes widened at all the beautiful scenic photos.
“It’s..” he mumbled.
“Beautiful? Yeah I know.” Mitsuba said with a grin, taking the camera from my hands.
“Shouldn’t we head outside then?” You suggested, to which both boy’s agreed.
CLICK.
Another picture Mitsuba had snapped, and another second you struggled not to burst out into giggles.
“Mitsuba,” Kou called, groaning when the ghost boy didn’t reply.
“Hey Mitsuba?” He repeated, struggling to keep himself balanced.
Mitsuba hummed, as if to say “what is it?”
“This hurts!” Kou cried out dramatically, making you press your hand harder over your mouth to make sure you didn’t laugh.
Mitsuba looked down, “you look good under my feet” he laughed with a cocky grin.
“Damn it you’re gonna regret this, I swear!” Kou shouted, trying to keep him and Mitsuba balanced.
You burst out laughing, no longer being able to contain the laughter spilling out of your soft lips.
A sound Mitsuba thought was melodic, and smiled at it. Kou glared at you, as if that would stop you from laughing at his torture, before sighing.
“I mean, this better be the picture you wanted to take.” Kou grumbled.
Mitsuba scoffed with a grin, turning his focus back to his camera.
“Uh-huh.. this is totally it.” He snickered, making you laugh along.
You, Kou, and Mitsuba had already taken a few photos. Some of kittens, which had unfortunately strangled didn’t like Kou. Of a beehive, somehow the bees didn’t like the idea of being photographed and attacked Kou. And of a rainbow, which ended up with Kou almost getting rid of Mitsuba on the spot.
“That’s got to be the fourth time you’ve said that.” Kou sighed, helping Mitsuba off his shoulders.
Mitsuba went over to go show you the pictures he took. He did end up taking a few of the birds in the nest before he and Kou startled them, but he also took a picture that made you cackle.
It was a photo of the view he had from Kou’s shoulders. Kou’s eyebrow’s were furrowed in frustration, trying to stay balanced and not fall or drop Mitsuba. His blonde hair was slightly ruffled from Mitsuba’s pant’s brushing against it.
It was very amusing to you, Kou groaned when he heard your laughing and snickering with Mitsuba.
“You two are so mean I swear.” Kou whined, letting his head fall forward against the nearby wall.
“Can’t we just rap this up already?” Kou complained, lifting his head slightly to look for your response.
Mitsuba gave you a look of ‘watch this’, and headed for Kou.
“Whaaat?” Mitsuba asked, dragging out the ‘a’ letter.
“But I thought you guys were gonna stick with me until I found the picture I wanted to take?” Mitsuba brought his sleeve-covered hand up to his mouth, to create a ‘innocent’ look.
“Or what? Is the ancient and dignified exorcist with the hella-lame traffic-safety earring,” Mitsuba snickered making Kou angrier “a promise breaking liar with a hella-lame traffic-safety—“
Within seconds, Kou had Mitsuba pinned to the ground again. “Don’t be so full of yourself!”
Mitsuba screamed, frantically writhing around to escape Kou’s grip once again.
“I’m disappearing! I’m gonna disappear!” Mitsuba wailed, making grabby hands for you to help.
But you were laughing your ass off, as this had been the umpteenth time this had happened.
.
.
“So hey,” Kou mumbled, looking over Mitsuba’s shoulder to see what he was photographing “you’ve only been taking pictures of animals and scenery.”
“Yeah, thanks Mr. obvious.” You joked, making Mitsuba laugh with you whispering a quiet ‘good one.’
Kou glared at you both, but nonetheless continued on what he was saying.
“What about people?” He asked, looking over at a couple of kids playing at the school field “you don’t want to take pictures of people at club or practice or, anything?”
Mitsuba paused for a moment, taking his focus away from taking the photo. “Uh.. well.”
Mitsuba cleared his throat, and even you went quiet to listen.
“Pictures of people do have an easier time winning awards but..” he paused, but then moved his focus back to photographing.
“What about me?” Kou practically chirped.
“What about you?” Mitsuba repeated.
“Why don’t you take a picture of me?” Kou asked with a grin.
“Yeah..” Mitsuba gave him a weird look.
“I’ll pass.”
You burst into laughter for the nth time, falling down from the crouching position you were in.
“Why?!” Kou whined, clearly confused why Mitsuba wouldn’t take a photo of him.
“I’m pretty particular about the pictures I take,” Mitsuba said as a matter of factly “it’s my policy to only take pictures of things I like..”
“Or things that are important to me.” He mumbled, glancing over to you who was still trying to stop laughing.
“Oh?” You all heard, turning around to see who it was.
“Oh, hey Yokoo!” You greeted, barely being able to catch your breath from laughing so much.
“Hey (Y/N), Kou.” Yokoo hummed in reply, adding “What? Did Kou suddenly become a jokester too?”
He gestured to your frame that was still sitting down, only holding yourself up by your elbows.
“No..” you giggled, getting back up.
Yokoo shook his head fondly, smiling. “What’re you guys doing out here?”
“Uh.. we were—“ Kou stuttered.
“Having a photo shoot! Yeah.” You blurted out.
Yokoo raised an eyebrow, chuckling at your odd behavior. “Never a dull moment with you two, huh?”
He looked down at Kou’s hands, narrowing his eyes down at it. With a hum, his eyes stared intensely at it.
“That camera..” he mumbled, “wasn’t that Mitsuba’s?”
“You..” Kou paused. “..know him?”
“We were in the same class in first year..” Yokoo explained “but.. he died. In an accident or something.”
You shuddered, turning your head the other way, as if that would help drown out what he was saying.
“Sometime last winter..”
“What?” Kou mumbled in disbelief.
“I was never really close to him, but you were in that class too, weren’t you Kou?” Yokoo asked, turning over to look at Kou, but he was looking at Mitsuba, who Yokoo couldn’t see.
“Sorry for talking about that.” Yokoo apologized after seeing you wince. “I know you were close.”
“WHAT? I WAS?” He panicked, feeling a bit bad.
Mitsuba gave Kou a side glance, but it looked kind of like ‘see your friend remembers me, even though I literally sat in front of YOU that whole year’.
“Sure were!” Yokoo confirmed, continuing to ramble on “Well I guess it’s hard to remember now, since we’re all in different classes.”
Yokoo noticed Kou wasn’t exactly paying attention and turned to look at where he assumed he was watching.
“Hey.. What’re you looking at?” He asked.
“Oh, probably another ‘supernatural’ again, you know Kou’s a little..” you spun your finger in circles on the side of your head, ‘crazy’.
Yokoo laughed, making Kou glare at you both before looking back at Mitsuba.
“Mitsuba.. that Mitsuba?”
“Yeah, I—“ Yokoo was about to speak again when his teammates called him back over “guess that’s my cue to leave. See you two later!”
“Mitsu—“ Kou stuttered out, but Mitsuba interrupted him.
“I tried talking to..” his voice cracked “every person I ever thought was my friend..”
He laughed lightheartedly, “Well except for you know, the one I didn’t remember.”
You smiled a bit, but your expression dropped when you saw Mitsuba’s face.
“But none of them knew it was me.” He mumbled, a little too sadly. “Only I remembered.”
“Ah.” You gasped when you felt a cold drop of water fall onto your skin.
You extended the palm of your hand out, as if to catch the water droplets. Kou had gone silent.
“…It’s starting to rain,” Mitsuba spoke after a few more moments of silence.
“We can see that.” You answered sarcastically, making Mitsuba playfully roll his eyes at you.
“Yeah I know that.” He retorted, then adding “we should probably go inside.”
So you all made your way up the stairs to the nearest entrance. The walk was silent once again, until Mitsuba broke it.
“I..” Mitsuba cleared his throat to speak more coherently “..was bullied when I was in elementary school.”
He turned to look at you “That’s kind of how I met (Y/N), she was the first to actually step up for me.”
You shot him a warm smile, as you continued up the steps.
“They would say it’s because like I ‘look like a girl’ and cause I’m ‘cocky’. Stupid reasons like that.” He explained.
“Oh yeah..” Kou unintentionally agreed.
Mitsuba turned around and shot him a glare “Could you not agree, please?”
“Sorry.” Kou stuttered.
“Anyways,” Mitsuba continued “that’s why I wanted to make things work out in junior high. I’d take the hint,” he used hand gestures with his sleeve to express himself better “I’d be nice so no one would call me cocky. I’d be friendly,” he paused before laughing lightheartedly “but not pushy with everyone.”
“And this where is where it got me.” He sighed “A boring guy who just barely stands out from the background.”
“(Y/N) tried to tell me that if they couldn’t accept me for who I was, and only did as a background character. Then it wasn’t worth it. But..” Mitsuba paused.
“He didn’t listen to me. Everything went through one ear, and straight out through the other.” You explained with a disappointed sigh.
“Nobody bullied me,” Mitsuba continued on “but I couldn’t make any more friends than (Y/N) either.”
Kou went silent, actually he had been silent since the whole time Mitsuba had been rambling. He finally perked up.
“He’s cocky.” Kou stated, pointing an accusing finger at Mitsuba.
Mitsuba hummed in confusion, swiftly turning around to look at Kou.
“Looks like a girl” Kou added, pointing out another finger as if to count.
“Sarcastic,”
“Selfish,”
“Has an annoying voice,”
“Obsessed with his camera,”
“Goes ‘emo’ sometimes,”
“And is only fake nice.” Kou finished, by then he had about nine fingers laid out.
“What’s your deal?!” Mitsuba shouted defensively.
“If anybody asks me ‘What kind of guy was Mitsuba Sousuke?’ that’s what I’m gonna tell them.” Kou explained.
“What?” Mitsuba mumbled with a confused expression.
“I’m sorry..” Kou apologized, looking directly at Mitsuba “I didn’t realize it was you.”
“I just didn’t recognize you, because you were so different from we met in first year.” Kou explained. “And, you know..”
“I agree with what (Y/N) had told you, I don’t think you had to force anything. You just had to be yourself.” Kou lightly chuckled, looking over at you who smirked at Mitsuba with a look in your eyes that said ‘I told you so’.
Mitsuba laughed softly, shaking his head.
“I do think you’ve got a warped personality.” Kou added, before speaking again “but I don’t hate it.”
“..A lot of good that does me now.” Mitsuba muttered.
“Yeah.” Kou hummed in agreement.
The rain had somehow magically stopped, and the sky was clear again. Mitsuba stopped at a sort of small balcony in the middle of the stairs to take a picture of some birds that looked to be doves passing by.
“Kou, (Y/N).” Mitsuba called, stopping his photo-taking for a moment.
Kou hummed in response, to tell Mitsuba to continue talking. And you just mumbled a “Yeah?”
“If I were still alive,” Mitsuba began “do you think the three of us could have been friends?”
“Are we not your friends?” You asked heading over to wear Kou was walking to, not really knowing where else to go.
“Yeah, can’t we still be friends even if you’re dead?” Kou asked with a pout. He sighed.
You looked at Kou, and he did the same. Over time whenever you made eye contact you found yourself laughing, and that what happened.
Mitsuba smiled, feeling his cold heart warm for the first time since he died.
CLICK!
You and Kou stopped your giggling for a moment, a bit shocked by the flash from the camera’s lens.
You raised an eyebrow as if to say ‘what was that?’ but still smiled, “Oh?”
Kou smiled, turning around to look at Mitsuba “What’d you take a picture of?” he asked.
“The sky?” He thought.
“Who knows?” Mitsuba chuckled “Maybe somethings important to me?”
The grin you had made Mitsuba’s smile even wider, and but Kou was still confused.
“Huh?”
“It doesn’t matter, let’s just go!” Mitsuba laughed, already pushing Kou towards the door leading back into the school.
You shook your head with a smile, walking beside Mitsuba.
“You guys can help me develop them tomorrow!” He suggested.
“And then..” he mumbled, looking at you and then back at Kou “..then I think I’ll be okay.”
“…You think so?” Kou asked.
“Yeah.” Mitsuba agreed.
“Then we can pick this back up tomorrow?” You asked hopefully.
“I’ll be waiting at the school’s entrance.” Mitsuba hummed with a nod.
“Miitsubaa..” you heard a voice chirp from behind you, dragging the ‘i’ and ‘a’.
It didn’t sound cheerful, in fact. It frightened you. You’d never felt so afraid to hear a spirit’s voice, it sent shivered down your spine. You shuddered. All three of you froze in place, but the look on Mitsuba’s face said it all.
You should be scared.
“It bothers me when you do these things,” the voice continued “without my permission, too.”
You hesitated, but turned to look behind you.
The boy had almost the same appearance as Hanako, except he had a more traditional uniform on, and a different seal on his cheek. A black one with the same red letters. His orbs were different too, they gave you a eerie feeling when you looked over at them. But besides that, he had the same choppy hair, and the same amber eyes. They looked ambitious, but not the type of ambition that’s curious and innocent.
No, the ambition in HIS eyes terrified you.
By then, Kou and Mitsuba had turned around too. And Mitsuba, he looked petrified. You all stood there like a deer in headlights, not knowing what to do.
“It’s rude.”
Kou narrowed his eyes down at the guy, and you knew he was thinking the same thing as you.
“Hanako?” you both mentally thought.
But unfortunately for all three of you, it wasn’t.
“Trying to move on.. without telling me too.” He continued to muse, walking closer to Mitsuba, who tried to back away.
“That’s not nice.” The boy said, finally stepping in front of Mitsuba “We can’t be having that.”
And with that, he shoved his hand straight through Mitsuba’s chest. He let out a choked cry, and there was a squelching noise—the same sound you heard in that dream—you shook your head in disbelief, backing away from the view.
The guy then tore his hand back out, holding what looked to be a dim light. Mitsuba’s soul.
“Wh—“ Kou choked.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?” Kou shouted angrily, attempting to attack the ghost from behind.
But the spirit didn’t do anything to to stop him. Instead, he grabbed Kou by his head, and slammed it straight into the wall. Kou winced as he slid down the wall, holding his head in his hand as if that would soothe the pain.
“Remember Mitsuba?” The ghost hummed, walking back over to said boy. “You asked me to grant you your wish!”
The ghost chuckled as it finally stopped right in-front of Mitsuba, “You said, ‘I want to stay in everyone’s memories.’”
He bent over, harshly pulling his head up by his silky pink hair “You just have two people and your happy with that?” The boy asked, his frown turning into a terrifying grin “No you’re not.”
“Are you, Mitsuba?”
“YOU BASTARD.” You practically shrieked, gritting your teeth as hard as you could to prevent yourself from sobbing.
“YOU FUCKING BASTARD!” You screamed, lunging at the spirit.
But just like with Kou, he was unfazed. His face void of any sympathy. His orbs swarmed around him, the force shoving you back, and you hit the wall with a loud cry that made Mitsuba’s heart ache. With a swift motion, his arm was behind Mitsuba’s back, he couldn’t move at all.
“I’m a supernatural.” The spirit hummed “For the right price, I will grant the wish of whoever summons me.”
“Amane grants the wishes of the living on the near-shore,” he explained “and I grant the wishes of the dead on the far-shore.”
“Mitsuba made a wish, and I answered.” He stated, looking at you who struggled to get up.
“And now I’m going to make his wish come true,” he said with such a smile that if you hadn’t known any better, would’ve seemed so innocent “and I’m going to do it my way.”
click.
There was a small snap-sound when the ghost flicked on some switch to a radio. Wait, a radio? What was going on(?), you thought.
“Okay Mitsuba,” the boy chirped “it’s time to grant your wish!”
“Sakura!” The ghost called in the direction of the speakers. “We’re all ready!”
There was a bit of static, before a monotonous voice spoke up.
It was a girl’s, you didn’t know who’s though, cause the voice wasn’t familiar to you.
“Have you heard this rumor?” The girl the ghost had called ‘Sakura’ asked.
“The bent-neck boy at the school entrance.”
Suddenly, Mitsuba’s eyes shot open, and there was an unsettling crack as his head snapped backwards.
“They say a ghost with a broken neck,” the girl continued “appears at the entrance of the middle school division.”
“He is a very lonely ghost.”
“So he might talk to you too. He’ll say ‘Hey..”
“Did you forget about me?” A voice that didn’t sound like Mitsuba’s asked, still the words pushed past his lips in a croak.
The voice sounded distorted, unpleasant.
“Mitsuba..” Kou whimpered, holding on tightly to his head.
“If you can’t tell him his name,” she started to explained “then.” She paused.
“He’ll break your neck to make you look like him.”
Then there were more voices. Other voices. They echoed. Bouncing on the walls and flooding into your ears.
“Did you hear? A friend of a friend told me..”
“Ew that’s disgusting!”
“Was it the middle school entrance?”
“Your neck!”
“He’ll break your neck?”
“That’s scaary”
“No,” Mitsuba whimpered, holding on tightly to his head out of frustration “no, no, no..”
“DISGUSTING.”
“LONELY GHOST.”
“BREAKS YOUR NECK?!”
“LOOK LIKE HIM?”
“SCARY.”
Mitsuba cried as he thrashed around violently.
“(Y/N)..” he wailed “Kou.”
The teary look in his eyes, the crack in his voice, the petrified look on his face.
It all made your blood boil.
How could anyone do that, to anyone really?
“There.” The ghost hummed in satisfaction.
“Now,” he smiled “no one will ever forget you.”
The way his lips twitched up into a smile, was twisted. It made your stomach churn and you felt the bile rising up from your stomach.
Mitsuba began to rise, but the the person—no. It wasn’t even a person. The thing that rose wasn’t Mitsuba. It was a large blob of this black liquid that felt like acid to your eyes the more you looked at it. It was covered head to toe in eyes, where his chest was—where his heart should’ve been was torn open. A rib cage was visible from that opening, and it was covered in bandages. It was made of many more parts, parts your couldn’t identify. Parts you didn’t want to identify.
The only part you could identify, was Mitsuba’s head slightly peeking out from the top of the monster.
His eyes were shut, and he looked almost lifeless as the only part of him you could see was limp.
“The school’s seven mysteries..” the ghost sighed walking towards where Kou was and where you were still trying to stay conscious. “Say they maintain correct relationships between humans and supernaturals.”
“But who needs that?” The ghost beamed, but his smile just made you shudder “Humans and supernaturals should just be however they want.”
“If that’s enough to break the world..” he trailed off.
“Then it’s better off broken.”
“Don’t you agree?” He asked with a hum.
You swore you saw red when you saw him touch Mitsuba, holding him like it was the most innocent thing in the world.
Holding his head in his hands as if he didn’t just grant his wish in a way he never wanted.
You felt your entire body shake with rage the more you looked at it. You stood up on legs you swore were made of jelly by the way the wobbled and threatened to give out on you.
“You’re..” you coughed violently “you’re one to talk!”
The ghost gave you a confused hum, an amused hum. A hum that scared you, but you continued on.
“All he wanted was someone to call he friend! Someone to tolerate his cocky personality and like him for who he was!” You say through choked out sobs.
“HE DIDN’T WANT EVERYONE TO FEAR HIM!”
Your shouting rattled Kou down to his bones with the way it scared him. It didn’t even sound like a shout, a yell, or even a scream.
No, it was a screech.
Hot tears threatened to spill from your tired (E/C) eyes, trembling with anger.
“Humans and super natural should just be however they want?” You scoffed “YOU DIDN’T EVEN LET HIM BE HOWEVER HE WANTED.”
“He was happy with what he had! Even if it was for a moment!” You cried, violently wiping the tears that began to spill out of your eyes and down your cheeks.
“You fucking asshole..” you whimpered.
“YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE HOW COULD YOU?!” You shrieked, throwing yourself at him, only for him to shove you right back with the force of his orbs.
And that, was when you blacked out.
Just in time, and luckily for Kou, Hanako had arrived.
.
.
There was silence when you blacked out, but then there were tons of laughter.
“Oh no.. poor sweet (Y/N)..” a voice whispered.
“It’s only just begun.”
“You’re not quite done yet.”
.
.
You shot up with a gasp, looking around frantically. Sighing when you saw it was just Hanako and Yashiro in the room.
“Ah..” Hanako mumbled. “You’re awake.”
“Are you okay?” Yashiro asked worriedly, pressing an ice pack against your head.
You winced at the ice cold feel, and Yashiro squeaked out a small ‘m sorry’.
You didn’t say anything though. You couldn’t, you didn’t know what to say.
Losing Mitsuba again was like losing the missing puzzle piece you’d been looking for and just when you think you’ve found it, you lost it again.
Tears began to well in your eyes and before you knew it, you were sobbing.
“I’m sorry Mitsuba, ‘m so sorry..” you cried.
Yashiro gave Hanako a pained look and he only responded with a sad smile.
“It wasn’t your fault kid.” Hanako sighed, sitting beside you.
“Yeah, it’ll be okay!” Yashiro tried assure me.
“No, no, no there should’ve been something I could’ve done! God— I-“ you wailed, wiping the tears harshly as they fell from your sunken eyes.
“No, (Y/N).” Hanako sighed “There’s nothing you could have done.”
“Once someone dies, that’s just the end.”
He sighed again when he saw you sob at the mention of death, knowing your friend died a second time just moments before.
“It’s over,” he continued. “You can become spirits and wander the near shore but that’s just it.”
“There’s no where else to go after that.” He whispered.
“We have no future.”
“No, no there must’ve been something I could’ve done!” You whimpered, but the more you cried, the more your head began to hurt.
Yashiro noticed this and sat on the other side of you, rubbing your back comfortingly as if it would help.
“Destruction was the only salvation for him, it’s better this way—trust me.” Hanako whispered after a few more moments of sitting in silence, the only sounds to fill the void were the sounds of your sobbing and hiccups.
“No there had to be some other way!” You screamed, Yashiro winced at how pained your voice sounded “It can’t end this way. I just had him. He was just here!”
“(Y/N)—“ Hanako tried to speak.
“BULL SHIT.” You shouted, slamming your fisted hands down hard onto your legs.
“BULL SHIT, BULL SHIT! ITS ALL A LOAD OF FUCKING CRAP!” You kept slamming your fists down onto your thighs repeatedly out of frustration, so much that Yashiro had to grab your hands and forcefully keep them from harming yourself any more than you already were.
“(Y/N),” Hanako whispered, making you turn to look at him through angry tears “there’s nothing you could’ve ever done to help him.”
“There’s no saving the dead.”
You broke out into hysterical sobs, shaking your head ‘no’ in disbelief.
There had to be some other way, there had to be some way to save him.
“Don’t leave me yet Mitsuba..” you cried, as if he would be able to somehow hear you from where he was.
“It’s too soon.”
(A/N) : I’m not feeling well right now, mostly mentally cause of some issue. So I thought of putting all that into here. Hope you liked it.

Part 7
The moment Hooty saw them, he started screaming with excitement. "Luz and her friends are here! Hoot, hoot!"
Everyone laughed at the reaction of Hooty and stepped in the house. Luz and then Gus hugged him
"Luz came! Luz came! Hoot hoot!" Hooty shouted. King, Eda and Lilith must have heard Hooty because they ran downstairs from the upper floor.
"l've missed Lumity so so much!" Hooty shouted again
"Eda, King!" Luz shouted and ran to hug them.
"Luz! You are here!" Eda said in tears.
The four of them -of course Hooty joined them- hugged for a minute.
Then Lilith hugged Luz.
"l can't believe you are here." said King.
Eda looked at other kids and said "l'm so glad you all okay."
Now it was the others' turn to hug Eda and King.
"We missed you too old witch!" said Gus and hugged her.
"King it's so nice to see you again." said Willow and hugged him.
Amity was trying to say hello to Lilith, but she was embarassed so Lilith took the first step and hugged her.
When she pulled back she said "Amity it's been so long since I've seen you. How are you?"
"l'm okay, thank you Miss Lilith."
Eda approached Hunter after their conversation with Gus. "How are you Hunter? You look better now, l'm happy for you."
"Thank you Miss Eda."
"Just Eda."
Hunter smiled. "Thank you Eda."
After the "How are you" ceremony was over, all eyes were focused on Camila.
"You must be Luz's mom!" said King happily and shook her hand. "l'm King."
Camila knelt down and said "And l'm Camila."
"We're sorry, we were distracted by seeing the kids again, we couldn't be polite." said Lilith. "l'm Lilith, Eda's sister and King's aunt."
"No, no don't worry."
Behind Lilith was an Owl Lady who was nervous to meet Luz's mother. So Luz helped a bit and pulled her front. "Mami it's Eda, The Owl Lady l've been talking about for months."
Hearing that nearly made Eda cry but she held tears and just said "Hi! Your daughter stayed with me in this house while learning magic."
"l know that well." said Camila.
Before being able to say anything more Eda said "Don't get me wrong l know this place is dangerous for a human. You must be thinking l'm a bad influence and l can't even say otherwise but- ."
Camila interrupted her and said "l don't think that, l know every adventure you had and l'm happy for Luz to have you all."
"So, it went well." mumbled Eda.
"I hate to interrupt your conversation, but we should talk about the Collector." said Amity while looking out the window. "Everything seems normal."
"Yeah, what happened?" Luz asked.
"About that... while playing the Owl House game we discovered that he is 'the bad but sad boy 2' and we helped him." said Eda.
"All he wants was not being alone again, so we promised him to be friends forever." added King.
"He even stays here. He's in the library right now, he likes listening to children's books." said Lilith.
"You solved the only problem left, then." said Hunter. "Now Boiling lsles in peace?"
All three said yes at the same time.
After the shouts of joy, Amity thought back to the sentence she had just heard.
"Hey! Who reads books to children? it's my job!"
Eda and King looked at each other and grinned. "They've already found a replacement, Blight." said Eda.
"Who's that traitor?" asked Luz. "We were planning to read Good Witch Azura to them!"
"l don't know anyone who likes reading books and spending time with kids." said Amity.
"Maybe it's for credit, wasn't your purpose also that?" asked Willow.
"It was just a simple excuse I found in the past, I never needed credit." said Amity.
Amity turned to Eda and said "Just tell me who is this witch."
"We exaggerated a bit. No one took your place they just managed in your absence." said Eda.
"I still want to know who they are."
"Your sister and brother." said King.
"What! No way! They hate reading." she said sarcastically.
"A lot has changed since your stay in the human realm. It was difficult to explain the situation to your families." said Lilith.
"Edric and Emira took this situation a little dramatically and started doing your daily routine as theirs. They said they would try to understand you better until you came, so that you would never feel alone again." said Eda.
"How cute they are." said Camila.
"Wow...l can't believe that, they always tried to change me- l can't wait to see them!" said Amity emotionally.
Willow and Gus were walking out the door to see their families when Raine walked in.
"Oh my Titan! lt's so good to see you kids again!"
"Hi Raine!" said Luz.
"Your families will be so excited. Especially Darius." said Raine while looking at Hunter.
Hunter didn't know how to feel when he heard this. He was happy to come here, but he was afraid of what he would do.
Of course, he knew that his friends wouldn't leave him alone, but it was still a fact that he didn't have a family.
"Where is he?" Hunter asked.
"The last time we spoke he said he will go to the Blight manor."
Amity and Hunter looked at each other then Amity spoke. "Alright then we are going to home. Luz, Camila do you want to come with us too?"
"First there are some places l want to go. we'll keep in touch, is that ok?" said Luz.
"Of course."
